OMG it works. I have bought 3 separate display port cables, thinking I was getting a bad cable. My last cable was 20 bucks, thinking I just had to get a higher end cable, but it wad dead on arrival (so I thought). Turned out a power cycle fixed it. Hey all! a little late on the subject but for me, everything wasn't working, at all. So I proceeded to use the shortcut Win+Ctrl+Shift+B to reset the display settings then Windows + P to open the side menu bar for displays (I,m on windows 10). I switched that option (offered ont he side) to ''extend'' and it seems to be working fine now! Hopefully this will give one more options for those that all of the above tips didn't work yet! :D

I would have never guessed it was the monitor because it was working fine yesterday - I thought it was a driver or something I'd installed. You are a life saver - thank you! @@csharp1990 I have since found and fixed the problem. I was running a dual monitor setup with my main monitor being the asus 144hz monitor. Ever since I unplugged the hdmi to the 2nd monitor the problem does *NOT* happen anymore. It's weird cause when I ran a 3-monitor setup it never shut off like that; but anyways, I'm just glad I don't have to deal with this anymore and am currently just using one monitor.

Will also confirm that it's working. Tried to reseat the DP cable first, no fix. Tried turning it off and on with the power button, no fix. But trying this method and my screen came alive again. Great guide!

I've had this monitor for about 5 months and this has happened to me twice. Another thing that happens is the screen will randomly go black sometimes but then it will come back on like normal. The black screen thing also happens quite rarely but more frequent than the no signal. Anyone else having this issue as well? The black screen lasts maybe 3-5 seconds and it will only do it once a week or so.
Seems to be a dodgy connection with the power cable design in this model (I had to RMA my first as the cable fell out every time it was put in), so it seems to bug out if not turn off completely.

Daniel Segal I had the same problem. Try pulling the power and Display-Port cable and wait for the light to go black. For some reason mine was pulling power through the Display-Port.
Didnt work for me, pulled the power, let it sit for about 10 seconds, plugged it back in, turned it on, didnt work. If anyone else can help me that would be great.
I used the advice of another commenter - Try also unplugging any of the cords (i.e. hdmi) as the power can pull from that as well. After I did that it works.
