You can tell this man is doing what he loves, and we, his fans, love what he does.....I believe there should be a warning label on his songs...."Caution: Paul Thorn Music is highly Addictive"
This guy........ One of the best.... If not the actual best in this world. I'd seriously listen to this dude go at it all day. Something about his music is so calming and such a tone of genius behind it. Keep strummin the good n the blues my man. Paul thorn for president!!!!
working at the Capital Theater in clearwater as security for Paul Thorn concert, I heard his Music for the first time and was impressed very good concert and very humble person.
I'm with you, I'm not a metal head, but, I agree to anyone that will except my right to disagree!! I except your right! But somewhere there's a point where we have to compromise!
Saw Paul two nights ago in Baltimore (Tuesday, 4/26/22, Creative Alliance at the Patterson Theater) and he has a hell of lot of new fans in this town! His band was on fire too, just incredibly tight and impressive - couldn't stand dancing in my chair so I had to stand up! I've seen him solo, with full band, maybe 5-6 times total and this was the best show ever - just amazing! What a real guy, humble and funny and kind and super-talented all rolled together.
More People should listen to this song, and more importantly live after it...the world would be a much better place... and also its just a great piece like many more of paul's songs
Paul Thorn me and my wife absolutely love your music every single song in our mind you are the best singer songwriter we have ever had a chance to listen to. And we love all the greats we feel like you belong with them. Up on stage. Keep on doing what you're doing because we will definitely keep on this than you are the only music I play on my radio. I have four years since I found you out in Charleroi Pennsylvania on the radio. I live in Columbus Ohio and I have never heard you on the radio here which is a damn shame.
Just "discovered" Paul Thorn a month ago. Man, am I glad I did! This guy has it goin' on, for sure. Love his songs and his heart. Good going, Tupelo, MS for producing a talent like his.
I’m a musician. I always try to sound like this person or that person, the thing I love about Paul is that he only tries to sound like Paul. He’s a true talent and one hell of a boxer... His songs relate to some personal part of all of us, like John Prine’s and only a few others
I like a whole bunch of different genres of music but he's the only guy I listen to songs to 20 times in a row , just found I don't want to know the other day and couldn't believe how much it hit the spot
At the unique pleasure of seeing him in concert at a music in the air Park concert in our city many summers ago. He really seems like to be a very good musician but also just a really cool human
I love how you tell the story of why you wrote the song before you play it on alot of the videos I've seen. I've just found you today. The fact that you tell the story of what inspired you to sing it, Tells me first and foremost you are a ginuine "righter" . I'm a writer to get things out instead of hold them in, That hasn't written for years. I have a beautiful daughter, a car, a roof my mother owns to live under. Every reason in the world to be thankful. But ever since the day my dad died in January 2018 of lung failure, Litteraly since the night before he died when the lights went out in over half of my small town my world has grown colder everyday and my heart becomes less. Literally dying of a broken heart. If I die on my birthday this year by an unavoidable cause I will go down in history as 1996, 06/11-11/2020. My life's pimps and preachers. Your an inspiration. -OklaHOma #Preachitpimp
Paul Thorn is brilliant, charming, entertaining, and I love his songs. Keep writing and keep singing. I saw concert in Chautauqua NY, recently. Performance was so impressive, quietly understated but wow! Want to join the fan club!
First heard Paul Thorn on The Bob and Tom show. " Its A Great Day" Been few years. Love love love. He is one of my all time favorite. Brilliant. Good stuff.
Just found you, Paul, on RUclips. You are such a BADASS!! I am your newest loyal fan. Please don't stop. EVER!! And I don't consider you a country singer. No way! I'm leaning more towards Southern Rock. Something about your voice reminds me of Ronnie Van Zant. Oh & Yehaw, Mississippi Man, I'm an Alabama Wild Woman!!! ✌️💙🤘
Heard this on Slacker while listening to Webb Wilder Radio. It was a good listen from the first line of lyrics to the last. Really appreciated something a little more heart-felt.
Love his music! If you gave a chance, see him in person, great storyteller as well. Believing and having faith is a good thing, but allowing each other to have their own beliefs and traveling on their own path is also essential. We will all find our own way in the end.
man I no u had quite a few hit on all you songs but I just heard u today an I like how real u are makes me feel proud there's still a few rebels out there.... keep doin u brotha
50 million comments ... for one purpose ... this guy rocks ... you either love him or hate him ... one of the best songs Ive ever heard in my life ... but for some .. the dumb ... I got thumbs up up here in the house of purpose and pleasin, its like a drip from a drain unused and abused and missed ... my purpose here wasnt kissed or bliss on a slice of life you cant cut with a knife .. Im shuttin up now ... before I go there ... lol
But...on the flip side, ya just might be right. ;) The fact that we have the right to be wrong or right is what makes our country so amazing. I enjoyed the song. If you ever read this, I hope that you are doing well brother. I listened to several tracks from your new album the other night, and I enjoyed them. I plan to buy a copy soon. Keep on keeping on!
@@Lesboop he's great. i've seen him live several times. good melodies, great and funny lyrics and a personality to match.if you liked this song you might get a kick out of "pimps and preachers"
This song hit me so VERY Hard a few days ago. I had completely misjudged a true a friend. The love of my life was almost destroyed. I was terribly WRONG!!!
I lol'd at 'that'll get me kicked out of my family' since pointing out out to my LDS family that they might be wrong about being members of 'the one true church' has lost me any contact with most of them! LOVE your poetry, Paul. And your voice isn't bad, either. Keep it up!
Wise words, actually. Those who won't listen to this, who dogmatically believe that they are right, no matter what, will never listen to anyone else who thinks differently to them. They can't, it would make them start to think and question, and that might shake their 'faith', and that would take away their position of security, which would be the worst thing in the world.
***** what i meant to say, have ya ever thought of going to nashville with your songs so i dont have to listen to a no talent like taylor swift sp he can over throw the no good music out
darlene howard Like Taylor Swift or not, she's bring country music to a new audience! Kids will listen to her and checkout what influenced her and discover country. Got to be better that this computerize thing that record companies call music today.
OMG YES!!! LOOOVE PAUL!!! SO thankful I was in the right place at the right time to be introduced to him. Went camping, bad storm, tent flooded, went to a bar, strike up a convo, guy says if you come back 2mrw, I'll give you this awesome cd. We did & the rest is history. Now we evangelize for The Church of PT! lol!
Born into a weird mix of Mormon and Southern Baptist, I became Wiccan. I love this song! I chose the Wiccan religion because it offers the freedom of being eclectic. If I'm wrong and I change my views, I don't have to change my religion. And I've changed my view a few times.
Wish everyone in the world would hear this song. You go Paul!

I’d vote for this cat in a second but then again I might be wrong🤷♂️
WTF would he run for president? He's not answering to anyone, and telling stories about how he grew up!
working at the Capital Theater in clearwater as security for Paul Thorn concert, I heard his Music for the first time and was impressed very good concert and very humble person.
I'm a metal head through and through, but holy shit I'm totally loving this guy.
