Thanks to my 13 year old daughter I’m an ARMY dad at 51 and since I started following them in 2017 and now seeing their entire career in just over 4 minutes has me an emotional wreck every time I watch this video. I honestly feel like a proud father when I see where they have been and where they are now. Those guys love us as much as we love them and their message is so deep, and honest. So I went ahead and googled "BTS Black Ocean" and I'm crying....Our boys do not deserve that.... Now look at them....the stadium filled with a purple ocean.....and I know one day I'll be a part of that beautiful purple ocean.....I believe and I'm not giving up on that dream.....
FINALLY! Someone who actually shows they are touched by this as much as most of us were. I really struggled and ugly cried through most of it and to have to many watch with dry eyes (reactors I have watched for 6 months or more) was hard. Thank You Jose for being you.
Trust me Jose, I cried intensely the 1st watch. And I still cry everytime I watch it. The ending hits so hard of course. To me it hit close because the ending was with them in their wings ending concert outfits. When they are in a circle singing Born Singer and showing almost shot for shot their wings ending speeches. The wings era is what solidified my love for them. 💜💜💜

I watched this at work and had a moment myself. I wasn’t there in the beginning but BTS came into life through my granddaughters. They’re twins and the youngest had medical crisis and BTS helped her deal with it. Love Myself will always have a special place in our family.

While I agree with your comment, I do think your phrasing is really unfair. I mean, "actual ARMY"? Please. Just because they haven't consumed every single bit of information about BTS and recognize their outfits from every single performance doesn't mean they're not ARMY. I've been an ARMY for years now and I didn't catch some things that I was in the fandom for. It's unfair to judge the theories people draw when they might not have the context.

After watching some of these people fake excitement (and some of them aren't even new, they've been around for a while) it was great to find someone who genuinely cares about the boys.
Having been ARMY since before they debuted, this was so heart breaking to watch. Remembering how hard it was for them in the beginning, how much they went through to get to where they are now. Even though they are the biggest sensation on the planet, these 7 guys have remained true to themselves, true to their friendship and that is what we see. They never stop showing us what we mean to them. Regardless of how many times I watch this I still cry. Great reaction.
I cried watching the MV, I've been a huge fan since DNA was released. BTS is so much different than every other Kpop band. They break the mold even when appearing to conform. They bring new people in by keeping their music accessible but still have super deep lyrics and meanings for long time fans to sift through. There is nobody like them.
I cried at least six times while watching you react. I have spent the last year diving into as much detail of their rise to global popularity. I watched every vlive, run BTS, Bon Voyage, concert footage, stages, and more since debut. Even though I have only been ARMY for a year, I feel the tears burst with understanding of how much this video represents their love for us and how ARMY has helped bring them to the reality of today. We share their music and messages with everyone we can. I am ARMY now and always.

But the one that hit me the most was when they're in black outfits on the stage which was the outfits from WINGS FINAL TOUR stage and I remember how hard I cried that day. Yoongi's arm injured, Black Ocean during 2016. Is sooo hard. No matter what i love them and consider them as my friends even though they dont know me. I will support them whenever i can. I feel like them ending with Boy With Love, was their way of saying they are boys with love. They feel the love now. Their fan base grew significantly, internationally by the time Boy With Love came out. So it probably dawned on them, “WOW, we are loved. People do like us”

This MV, BTS, ARMYs are special to me and even if I'm an Army since the middle of 2019 and that MOTS : 7, MMA and MAMA 2019 were my first ever come-back, seeing thoses references made me cry 😭

I LOVE watching other ARMY’s reaction to the MV, each of them pick up different things that I or others couldn’t. I didn’t even notice Yoongi’s arm or the Black Ocean until I saw José’s and other ARMYs calling out.
Dude I cant listen to this song without crying. Their impact on my life is so huge, that I feel it everytime I hear this song. Watching the video is even harder to watch. I love it so much. I even got a tattoo that says bulletproof together bulletproof forever.
I so look forward to your reactions. You did the same thing we did, my granddaughter and I, we paused, we named off the mvs, we cried and we got so excited when they took us with them. When it got the part where the ARMY bombs were in the stadium, she screamed. BTS always surprises us with content. I have watched many mvs, interviews, and concerts. I have seen all three Bon Voyage seasons and all the RUN episodes. I have watched all the FESTA content from 2014 to 2020. BUT this mv affected me more than any others have or ever will.

I’ve only been an army for 3 and a half months, and I don’t know exactly what they went through to get to where they are now but from what I’ve seen and heard they seriously worked so hard, they never gave up on their dream, they have passion something most celebrities don’t because they only want fame but not them not BTS 💕 I admire them so much, and I have such great admiration towards for everything they have been able to accomplish no matter what people told them, and look 👀 look at these boys now. THEY ARE LEGIT KNOWN WORLDWIDE AND IF YOU DONT KNOW THEM YOUR JUST DUMB. I mean even before I became a fan I used to see them everywhere. Oh how I love them them and how proud I am of them... Yea Jose I feel you. It was during BTS perform and fans from other fandom turn off their light stick to create black ocean to BTS. During that time BTS wasn't so famous yet but now every awards we can only see army bombs supporting on them.

I feel like them ending with Boy With Love, was their way of saying they are boys with love. They feel the love now. Their fan base grew significantly, internationally by the time Boy With Love came out. So it probably dawned on them, “WOW, we are loved. People do like us”

This MV, BTS, ARMYs are special to me and even if I'm an Army since the middle of 2019 and that MOTS : 7, MMA and MAMA 2019 were my first ever come-back, seeing thoses references made me cry 😭

The ending to this MV hit me harder because the first BTS video I ever watched was Boy With Luv. It felt like my journey with BTS up to this point came full circle and I teared up for sure.

I so look forward to your reactions. You did the same thing we did, my granddaughter and I, we paused, we named off the mvs, we cried and we got so excited when they took us with them. When it got the part where the ARMY bombs were in the stadium, she screamed. BTS always surprises us with content. I have watched many mvs, interviews, and concerts. I have seen all three Bon Voyage seasons and all the RUN episodes. I have watched all the FESTA content from 2014 to 2020. BUT this mv affected me more than any others have or ever will.

I’ve only been an army for 3 and a half months, and I don’t know exactly what they went through to get to where they are now but from what I’ve seen and heard they seriously worked so hard, they never gave up on their dream, they have passion something most celebrities don’t because they only want fame but not them not BTS 💕 I admire them so much, and I have such great admiration towards for everything they have been able to accomplish no matter what people told them, and look 👀 look at these boys now. THEY ARE LEGIT KNOWN WORLDWIDE AND IF YOU DONT KNOW THEM YOUR JUST DUMB. I mean even before I became a fan I used to see them everywhere. Oh how I love them them and how proud I am of them... I pray they continue growing and accomplishing everything they wish for and for many more years together, I pray one day they will announce a tour soon and we’ll all be able to see them and have the time of our life’s. Yea Jose I feel you. It was during BTS perform and fans from other fandom turn off their light stick to create black ocean to BTS. During that time BTS wasn't so famous yet but now every awards we can only see army bombs supporting on them.
