    That note in Genesis doesn't uphold the literal 6 24 hr creation period. It doesn't denounce evolution. That has always bothered me about that Bible. It's hard for me to trust the scholarship of the notes because of that, although they aren't trying to be scholarly anyway; more life app based. The LASB was my first real Bible 30 years ago so it does remind me how exciting it was to learn the Bible as a new Christian. Thanks for the review.

      I love this Bible but like all study bibles, I have never found one in which I agree with all the commentary and I believe that to be a the same for everyone. Thank you for your feedback! God bless

    If a Bible appears it’s not made well and you are going to keep it, just put it in a zipper cover to keep it together. It looks like a nice Bible.
    It’s unfortunate that it’s just bonded and not a better quality of leather.

    This is a great review! I'm currently looking at different study bibles and I like having commentary/essays, as that's what usually interests me in unpacking literature/text/scripture. The Luke 10:3 example you read gave a good idea of what type of notes are in it. My one concern though is if the historic annotations are too dense? And are there any scholarly essays in it?

      Also, I notice that the hard cover NKJV version last publication date is 2000. Is there a vast difference between recent and older publications?

    I think it’s in single column to mirror Tyndales original text. I love this format though, it’s more than the single column text. It’s just a nice layout for personal reading and stuff.

    I have an important question!please help me! Which should I buy? CHRONOLOGYCAL life application study bible which has 2220 page number OR Life application study bible which has 2400 page number?? Please help me.

    • @biblereviewer7548
      @biblereviewer7548  6 лет назад +1

      It really comes down to preference on this matter. Both Bibles have the same material; its just that the study Bible places each book introduction at the beginning of each book whereas the Chronological book places the introductions at the back of the Bible. There is no wrong answer here. If it will be your primary Bible then I would get the Study Bible but if you already have a primary Bible then you may want to read the Word from a different perspective such as in chronological order. I hope this helps.

    is there the same exact info in this book as the chronological one

    • @biblereviewer7548
      @biblereviewer7548  7 лет назад +3

      I would say that about 90% of this Bible is exactly the same as the chronological Bible. I have found that in this Bible it may ad a sentence here or there that is not found in the chronological Bible or that it may hit on a verse that the chronological bible did not. But everything else is word for word. Copy and Paste.

      @@biblereviewer7548 I noticed that you commented in the video around the 1:04 time mark about if this Bible's binding if it would hold since you've had it for about a year. My first KJV Life Application Study Bible was given to me as a gift from my local church pastor almost 3 years ago. However, this LASB is the 1988 edition. So I received a LASB that is has 30 years of use, 30 years old and the binding is as good as new. No loosening of the binding. Of course, I have several new KJV LASB now.

      @@biblereviewer7548 NIV and all modern Bible translations are corrupt. They use a different manuscripts. Manuscripts used were Alexandrian texts from Alexandria Egypt, Vaticanus Codex from the Vatican Church library and Sinaiticus Codex. Westcott and Hort were into the occult and paganism and they used corrupt Greek text for the new testament translation. The NIV is missing many texts. You won't find Acts 8:37 in the NIV. By the way, the NIV has many editions that has continued to change verses. KJV does have several editions also, however, the verses remained the same, they only changed the word spellings, for example, Jesus was spelled Iesus and Paul was spelled Pavl.
      Only the KJV Bible is God's word. It was translated from the true manuscripts Hebrew Masoretic Texts for the Old Testament and the Greek Textus Receptus New Testament Texts.
