If shadow banning isn't real, then explain how some of my videos will get 1000's of views per day. Then if youtube demonetizes that video, the views instantly drop to 50 views per day and it never recovers.

What happens when you have an employee that works at RUclips headquarters who gets jealous of certain people and channels and they go in and shadow ban your channel. normally I would disagree, but u tube's refusal to EXPLAIN their policy makes it impossible for me to understand their parameters. how can i know if i am out of bounds if nobody will explain. I am much more worried, that RUclips shadowbans my comments all the time. It also shadowbans comments from others with whom i have (absolutely normal) discussions. It got almost impossible to have a conversation with people in the comments and interchange different opinions. Its terrifying !

Espescially when a non-human algorithm (a bot) decides which comment should be shadowbanned, and which not. Im shadowbanned and 100 percent sure. Idk what to do. I removed all my content off youtube and gave up. I know im banned because I use to have a few junk channels that would grow at a normal rate. My channel would get 2 subs for putting out 30 videos in a month while 1-2 of those videos always got a strike. My other channel grew by the 100s when I didn't even put any effort. I wish I could sue over this because destroying peoples dreams is pure evil

As a TubeBuddy Engineer this is one of the most fascinating things for me. I've been trying to find a channel to study in order to see if there is/are identifiable markers in the under-the-hood metadata in RUclips Studio that could confirm a ban. I know the channel Liberal Hivemind got a shadowban a month before the 2020 elections. Their suggested traffic sources went to zero when it was their biggest source. When that happens new subs come to a halt making growth impossible. If your channel has had this I would love to collab, reply and I can get in contact. Sry Ian for highjacking this short :)
Do you vlog about this or do interviews? I started YT in ‘11 as Jeff 4 Justice but retired the channel in ‘17 after suspecting I was shadow banned. Despite improved vid quality and more interviews with high profile people, I was only getting hundreds of views despite having thousands of followers. I changed the original channel to a vanlife channel. I then re-created my Jeff 4 Justice channel new to keep the two different types of content separate and the archive some of my best interviews yet I stopped in ‘17. I returned to making content last year. It’s sad to see how RUclips devolved after the Hollywood takeover and political censorship era. Back in 2011 it used to be easy to get subscribers and views. Those days are long gone. I get more views on BitChute and censorship prone TikTok.
They shadowban comments too. Doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason either. Of course there's certain trigger words and phrases etc. but some very benign comments get shadow banned. Not sure if it's percentage basis get cut or quantity within a certain time period or what.

I miss the days when there wasn’t a censorship board working for RUclips. The fact that there AI system can ban for certain words but not analyze the context and content properly tells me that the system never should have been developed and put into effect in the first place. It’s one thing when someone is doxxing you and spamming your channel with bots… it’s another when someone just doesn’t like what you have to say. To those people, don’t WATCH. No one is forcing you to interact; it’s unfortunate you have no self-control. But that sounds like a personal problem and not any user or channels fault. Safe space is a fallacy; grow up or get off the platform. The people who try to call to censor others for speech they disagree with are the ones who need to get banned completely from the app.
The ceo should just be fired from youtube and get replaced with a different and better ceo instead of the crap we got now. it's the people viewing...not youtube. Haters watching your videos or reading your comments...when they don't like what you say, they will flag/report making false claims causing your channel to be flag for shadow ban.

I know how it feels bro. Exactly the same with my channel. RUclips stopped suggesting all my videos to new viewers literally overnight and my views dropped by 97% since that day. I have uploaded several videos anyway since this, but they died at something like 100 views and were never suggested. The funniest thing is that my videos that got 20k views are the worst and have the lowest stats. Newer videos don't get any views even if their AVD and CTR stats are higher. Makes no sense.

I got banned from posting for no reason 💀 it was only a week, but I am PISSED. I posted a Roblox account giveaway with the passcode ‘never gonna give you up’ but it was backwards so someone would get rickrolled. They striked me once, but i got it the first time. It said it would danger my acc or someone else’s. I understood that and made another part to the video saying it was a joke and it wasn’t my or anyone’s passcode and wrote it down 3 times. In the video, desc, and comments. I posted it…5 minutes later…BANNED FROM POSTING. I wrote an angry response saying that people were able to do the SAME EXACT THING without getting banned. That’s not fair, is it?

I have a friend in the atheist community that is a content creator/live streamer that I neeeeeed to send this to, asap. First inkling of a ban/shadow ban is that you keep having to sub and ring the bell on vids. Another question i have: if someone gets temp restricted from a vid, and forced to take it down, calling out bigotry and hate speach, but the origional poster of such venom is still allowed to post said vid on their channel, how can that be reversed. What email can I use. The description just takes me to a help page where I see no email. I think my other account was banned after just a few days and posts. And the only email option I’ve found is for paid services like RUclips premium or renting a movie
Unfortunately, you can't do anything about it but just contact youtube and their team. I tried contacting them, and they ignored me like I was yapping, but I was speaking truth about youtubes greedy and narcissistic company. The only best thing you can do is contact them, and if they ignore you, report the app and leave it.

Think I also have the shadow ban as my comments often disappear after posted and those that remain often show 0 or 1 likes, down from what were often sometimes in the teens or hundreds. Do shadow bans also affect replies to comments in the same way?
I post several comments with different wording until one appears in a browser window where I'm not logged in. It's a waste of time though, and the people you are trying to talk to need to know to do the same otherwise you may not see their last reply.

What if one are blanket banned across all social media? most likely this comment will not be seen or even interacted with… all of my content is deprioritized on RUclips Instagram tiktok any other meta related platform, Spotify, and twitter. Funny thing is i do all my own, writing, filming, editing, artwork, animation, graphic design, lyrics, and music production/composition. While my style is weird core or surrealist In nature and has a darker aesthetic, there is no nudity, misinformation, nor violence. They've shadow banned all my channels for the past 15 years... it blows.
I miss the days when there wasn’t a censorship board working for RUclips. The fact that there AI system can ban for certain words but not analyze the context and content properly tells me that the system never should have been developed and put into effect in the first place. It’s one thing when someone is doxxing you and spamming your channel with bots… it’s another when someone just doesn’t like what you have to say. To those people, don’t WATCH. No one is forcing you to interact; it’s unfortunate you have no self-control. But that sounds like a personal problem and not any user or channels fault. Safe space is a fallacy; grow up or get off the platform. The people who try to call to censor others for speech they disagree with are the ones who need to get banned completely from the app.
The ceo should just be fired from youtube and get replaced with a different and better ceo instead of the crap we got now. They shadowban people either because shadowbanned content creators are being themselves, shadowbanned content creators shine light about secrets or government things, or shadowbanned content creators are mostly underage, or black. They discriminate as well. Look at the whole favoritism and racism situation that happened in august 2022. Coryxkenshin was shining light to the secrets of youtube and he got horrible treatment because of that. RUclips needs to do better, or it will be on them..
my other channel got banned from commenting for 1 day but the countdown didnt start.. wtf? its been like this since i got it on my screen7 hours ago. HELP!!
They took down a video on my main channel again and it was a live stream that didn’t have anything that would break the rules and now i got a community strike.
They also keep shadow banning my vids. Typical youtube.
it's the people viewing...not youtube. Haters watching your videos or reading your comments...when they don't like what you say, they will flag/report making false claims causing your channel to be flag for shadow ban.

I know how it feels bro. Exactly the same with my channel. RUclips stopped suggesting all my videos to new viewers literally overnight and my views dropped by 97% since that day. I have uploaded several videos anyway since this, but they died at something like 100 views and were never suggested. The funniest thing is that my videos that got 20k views are the worst and have the lowest stats. Newer videos don't get any views even if their AVD and CTR stats are higher. Makes no sense.

I think it maybe like u said ai flagging the videos for human Review. but it takes a lot of time. it's like algorithm cycles. then ur channels dies and you don't know when it will blow again. when you contact Yt support they act like everything is normal. what's best to fix this?

Oh for sure they hide real sub counts and throttle your each as a creator and they do so for petty reasons

I got banned from posting for no reason 💀 it was only a week, but I am PISSED. I posted a Roblox account giveaway with the passcode ‘never gonna give you up’ but it was backwards so someone would get rickrolled. They striked me once, but i got it the first time. It said it would danger my acc or someone else’s. I understood that and made another part to the video saying it was a joke and it wasn’t my or anyone’s passcode and wrote it down 3 times. In the video, desc, and comments. I posted it…5 minutes later…BANNED FROM POSTING. I wrote an angry response saying that people were able to do the SAME EXACT THING without getting banned. That’s not fair, is it?
I only have 402 subs but my channel has flatlined in the last two weeks. Very concerned I’m shadow banned. Also, not sure why that would have happened.

I have a friend in the atheist community that is a content creator/live streamer that I neeeeeed to send this to, asap. First inkling of a ban/shadow ban is that you keep having to sub and ring the bell on vids.
Another question i have: if someone gets temp restricted from a vid, and forced to take it down, calling out bigotry and hate speach, but the origional poster of such venom is still allowed to post said vid on their channel, how can that be reversed. Also, he got permanently demonitized for that vid. Will he have to rebrand and start a whole new channel?

YT tracks on so many levels I'm not sure even creating a new account, with a different email on a different PC with a different mac address would even work, lol. VPN too? EDIT- Actually, i did do something wrong. I told the channel owner I wasn't there for the content but that I only liked them. They would have put up with that but would have ignored me forever. So, they may not let me back in if they remember the reason why I left, lol.
i think i just got banned on this account bc i just got a pop up saying this account was banned, i’ve never said any rude comments or posted any videos, but yesterday i watched a video that somebody said a mean comment on and i said “instead of hating you can just scroll” idk if that got me banned, but it will only let me watch for like 5 sec until i get the pop up again

What email can I use. The description just takes me to a help page where I see no email. I think my other account was banned after just a few days and posts. And the only email option I’ve found is for paid services like RUclips premium or renting a movie

Unfortunately, you can't do anything about it but just contact youtube and their team. I tried contacting them, and they ignored me like I was yapping, but I was speaking truth about youtubes greedy and narcissistic company. The only best thing you can do is contact them, and if they ignore you, report the app and leave it.

I was getting 500 to 10,000 views every short and video now I'm getting 15? with 650 subs? that's impossible.

I was getting over 60k views per month. Now 2,700 views. As soon As I applied for the RUclips “partner program”. What kind of “partner” does this ?! Don’t apply for YT Partner program + just figure out how to monetize another way.
Same thing, within a few months after getting partnership my channel got banned. My other channel literally only have tutorials and still banned.

What if one are blanket banned across all social media? most likely this comment will not be seen or even interacted with… all of my content is deprioritized on RUclips Instagram tiktok any other meta related platform, Spotify, and twitter. Funny thing is i do all my own, writing, filming, editing, artwork, animation, graphic design, lyrics, and music production/composition. While my style is weird core or surrealist In nature and has a darker aesthetic, there is no nudity, misinformation, nor violence. So honestly its very hard for me to believe big tech is not playing favorites and being discriminatory when they deny or uphold shadow banning and literally make it impossible for me to work or make a living as an artist.

I'm 100% that my channel was shadowbanned, because my video views have been performing poorly, despite the fact I have over 8,770 subscribers.
1 year later, and I still think my channel's shadow banned. I'm now over 9,200 subs, and still severely struggling with views.
They also shad*wban comments if they contain certain keywords which RUclips doesn't like (which is why I mask such words - just in case). So it's not a real surprise if they do it with entire accounts too...
