    I've been watching SVB since he was in Rapid City, SD and knew this guy would end up pro but I never dreamed how far he would go. One of the smoothest strokes in 9-ball today. I've never seen anyone get shape on the next shot like Shane does.....maybe the Magician, Efren Reyes. My two favorite players.

      You should go back and watch Earl Strickland in his early days. Unbelievable shape. The guy was a machine!

      Karen Corr has some solid wins over some of the top male players. I recall her beating Ko Pin Yi in the US Open they year he was double World Champion.

      Historically no and this is why there are mens and womens pool kept seperated for the most part. The women would never have a chance to win titles. That is unless a man comes along that "identifies" as female at which time he will be called the best female player to challenge the men.

      Hasn't Kelly Fisher beaten multiple male players ? Chen Siming, Jasmin Ouschan as well as even Seo Seoa has beaten Earl even though Earl is way past his prime. But I remember Kelly beating Jeff De Luna..

    When the commentators talk about Joey Rate’s major error in shooting the purple five ball instead of the four ball, they should in fairness to Tate, mention that comes from using a very irregular switch of ball colors. Not fair at all to the players. That mistake was on Matchroom!
    What person in their right mind would reverse colors of pool
    balls that understands
    Pool at all.?

      Changing ball colors has nothing to do with game rules.
      Especially changing a color from one number to another. That is just insanity.

      She probably didn't mean to shoot it exactly like that, but when another ball is near a pocket it's very easy to make the ball in many different angles. Knowing this will make you shoot for it. Lucky, perhaps, but knowledge and experience made her shoot for it.

    • @robertjohnson463
      @robertjohnson463 11 месяцев назад +1

      Not luck in the least. The 9 was close to the pocket, making the shot 10 times easier. She played the odds, considering the odds of any other shot, including safeties, were much lower. I bet you could even make that shot if given the chance!
