Returning to the forgotten creek full of GOLD!!

- Before I went away I prospected a nameless creek and had a very successful day including a few small gold nuggets. I've only prospected this creek once so I've been looking forward to heading back in search of more gold. The creek is very remote and as far as I can see no one has mined here since the old timers prospected there.

Nice little haul mate, I had a laugh when you showed the rainbow trout - I had a large fish follow me around on my last dive, it was really curious as to why a hookah diver was hanging out in their spot! Maybe we need to get you detecting in ocean reefs for coins and other sorts of treasure now, come to the dark side for a while 😂cheers Levi!

I love watching Levi strut his stuff but I'd have to argue whether he's the best. If you enjoy Levi's stuff you'd love Brute mining. Similar to Levi's stuff but wildlife, logging, moving boulders with winches, all test pit stuff in BC etc.. And watching him raise his kids at the same time.
@@mynamesnotdave695 thank you for your recommendation! I need more good mining videos to watch. I started off watching Pauly’s, Vogus and Hurd back in the day but when I found Levi’s videos I found them more relaxing and satisfying, great for chilling out but motivating at the same time.
I found a lot of mining videos were starting to get irritating but not Levi’s.😃

I enjoy your adventures. Finding gold is a bonus. If all you were to show is finding gold while sniping it could get a bit boring but you show the process of prospecting. I also enjoyed your family adventure to the mainland and taking your buddy back to the grave so he could also fulfil his goal of finding it. It allows us 'friends' to get to know you better.

At 6:02 where you dug out the channel and that Bedrock looks like a geode something that you crack open and could be crystals inside of it might be worth a look for you if you ever go back Levi

Yes, Levi should be taking some test pans out of that bank overhang. The amount of work done on that small creek by the old timers, wow! Really makes you wish you could see it as they found it. I have been moving gravel by hand, rake, and shovel since I was a wee little Stickleback. I get it, and I appreciate the great quality videos you produce doing it. Have a fine evening. 🍺🇺🇸

Thanks for the video, always enjoy your adventures. I have been finding more coins lately than gold, was out a bit ago and found two 1943 US quarters ( silver) stuck together, and the last time out about two weeks I found a 1889 Liberty $5 piece, at least that is what I think it is, right size, and I can make the date out barely but it was in rough shape. Found all three panning, the two quarters I saw when I was digging out a crevice. The gold coin was in a shovel full of material that I was doing a test pan on. Nothing else either times except maybe a half gram of gold flakes (flour gold). Which is strange because I usually find a picker or two here in California. But I can’t complain, because the coins both have a small value in themselves, even if mostly sentimental value. Once again Thank you sir.

I really enjoyed this video. It’s great to see you talking about your love for the adventure, driving and hiking to your destinations. Awesome stuff.
I also like when your talking about what your looking for in the rivers, the signs for where gold might be, it’s really interesting and especially when you point out the diggings where the old timers have been.
I guess it would be exciting to see if there are some gravels in the old diggings that might still bare gold. I think a lot of us wonder how close the old timers might have been to there next fortune had they had some sort of a detector.

Watched both yours and Rob's vids. I've said it b4, love your work Levi. I'm just back from a trip. Had to wait months because of lockdown, finally got out there, and it pissed down rain. Filled all the creeks and rivers, bogged up all the tracks in. ☹ Can't catch a break.

I know you have shown it before but, those blokes just don't understand.....the grueling hike you have to go through just to get there is a feat in itself. With all of those old timers workings there that has removed the gravels it’d be worth even bringing in the PI next trip, especially since you’re on ground with bigger nuggety gold. I’ve found surprisingly big pieces of gold in what looked like smooth schisty/slatey bedrock buried in the thinnest of cracks next to creeks like this.
Yeah absolutely at some point I’ll get back with the detector and yes sometimes that shale bedrock has fine cracks that holds good gold here also but this particular creek didn’t seem to give up any cracks much at all
