- Today I installed my Girlfriend's dashcam for her. She got a Garmin Dash Cam that she's been meaning to install for a while, but has just been busy with work and school. The installation was relatively easy, but hiding the wire was a bit tedious. This is NOT an installation guide, just wanted to share my story.

I had the same one, it will eventually start shutting off and turning on over and over again in an endless loop even while plugged in. Had to throw it out

The screen broke after a few months... How can i test if the screen or the motherboard or the cable is broken? The screen lights up but it stays black

The way you hid the wires are going to block airbags, I have heard.
I’ve heard that as well but I truly believe that this wire can’t stop the airbag from deploying

@@offimoo9995 that’s how I’ve done mine today. I can’t 100% guarantee that it won’t have any effect to the airbag itself but as I said the possibility is low :)
Look, a thin little cable isn’t going to be stopping any airbag, if anything that cable is probably going to be torn apart and fly away along with the plastic casing covering the airbag.
@@offimoo9995 it can't really, an airbag can deploy at 18mph, so I'm sure it can't get blocked by a wire
One issue, you always leave the new plastic on the screen until you replace the camera with a new one

@@timtalks6080 Some groups of people leave the factory plastic covering on new devices as temp glass protection. Sometimes it works but it's giving cheap 😂

Men do too. You need it for professional control. I notice only people who don't know how to drive have the car laid back really far and that's why they get into a ton of wrecks
