I think Shiki would make the most sense since he hasent been formally introduced in the canon story but anybody is possible now. Favorite interaction would probably be either Whitebeard or Kaido meeting Ragnar
The closest they got at meeting a canon character (not counting the end of series fights against alternate universe versions of canon characters) was killing Kidd’s (noncanon) father. The follow up series however has already had them meet up with Bege.
I feel like captain John would be amazing for two reasons, we know so so little about him except he's dead, he has a lot of treasure, and he was a rocks pirate. The ultimate irony I would love, Is if the devil luck pirates found his treasure before he actually died, that would be hilarious

I would like to see rustage make some decisions that wouldnt make sense in the story so he isnt bound to one piece cannon that much (like them going to minnion island right when law and rosinante are there since i think it makes sense in the timeline Edit:just checked they are 8 years early for that but you get my point
