This was the last great team in NFL history the '90s cowboys after that free agency and the league wanting parody destroyed everything those Patriot teams I know they want a lot but they weren't great they won by field goals they were not a great team literally they could have lost every super bowl they was in they could easily be owing six you turn around one play in each game and they're owing six so that's not a great team they just figured out a way to win The cowboys were a dominating team on both sides of the ball and Madden even said that when for agency would start he was so smart he said this is probably the last great team you'll see in the NFL now that free agencies here The 96 Packers were he was talking about them when he said it to a 96 was when he said it that they were borderline a historically great team because they were really dominant that year but Dallas still beat the pants off of it when they play them that year 21 to nothing seven field goals Green Bay didn't cross midfield till late in the game but that was a great team that packer team they doubled their opponent plus like 100 points
There is just something nostalgic about watching Pat and John talk about the turducken. It's like I'm at my grandma and grandpa's house watching this game with my uncle again.
I'd always watch the Thanksgiving Day games with my uncle and Grandma too. They'd come over, we'd eat, watch the game and then throw the football in the backyard during halftime. I miss those days!
This game was one of the most memorable of the era. As a Cowboys fan I wish it could have been in one of our SB wins, but at least it was a highlight of our “off” year in 1994.
Dallas could almost always run on GB with Emmitt. On top of that, Aikman usually played his best against GB and rarely made mistakes while Favre almost always threw up some "wtf" passes.
Not quite at this point, but the core group of guys for this Packers team would soon go on to have great success. And Dallas only won the divisional matchup against these Packers 10-7, or sumthin like that.
The Packers were 9-7 in 94, they were 2nd in the Central, finishing a game behind the 10-6 Vikings, and they were a 4 seed in the playoffs. They beat the visiting Lions in the Wild Card 16-12, a rematch from the previous year’s playoffs, only roles reversed, as the Packers were a 6th seed and the Lions were a 3rd seed, and had won the Central, but the 94 Packers weren’t much better than their 93 counterpart, they were actually worse, and Dallas destroyed them in the Divisional Round, 35-9.
Crowing about the one time Rev White did something awesome against the Cowboys? Running over a rookie? LOLOLOLOLOLOL I liked all the times Erik Williams whipped Reggie's ass, myself. The Cowboys line was the one team that didn't just neutralize Reggie, they manhandled him. Mr White always looked like he was going to cry when he came off the field. Peace
I do not give a F what anybody says, Emmitt Smith is the greatest RB in NFL history. Ran tough, played through injuries, could block, catch the ball and he never quit.
The game where Doug Evans got penalized for Michael Irvin's pass interferences. Packers would have won easily if not for the paid off officials. 1:19:33
I don’t know why I’ve been binge watching these old games. Maybe I’m just too nostalgic of a time long gone
I'm with you bro. I think it's the vintage commentary of Madden, and Summerall. They were golden.
100% the same. These games bring back great memories and feelings.

Really loved watching football with Pat summeral and John Madden.

Good times.

The good old days when every play wasn't out of the shotgun & teams could actually play defense. Not to mention kickoffs getting run back.
Yes! 👍 Also When a pass interference call! Wasn't used as a tool, to steer games❓💲NFL now the WWE 🙃
Totally agree
And when coaches and fans didn’t believe that if you called 2 consecutive running plays you would turn to stone!
When there wasn't a dance of some kind after every play!!
The Cowboys owned the Packers in the 90s, this game defined, it no Troy Aikman and Brett Favre played fabulous and they still couldn't win
Ahh the Jason Garrett game. When the team was still good that they could plug in any QB and still win.
Garrett had a little accuracy but no arm strength at all
Sounds amazing i love this thank u much!
RIP Pat And Madden
I wish I could find the Green Bay- Dallas games from 1995
1995 nfc championship full game is impossible to find!
@@Dw-rb5yl it's on here

Mike Holgrem, before the game, with Garrett, starting as QB…oh baby, we gonna win this! Then REALITY SET IN…lol

Cowboys beat the Packers twice a year between 1993 and 1995 regular season and playoffs.
Brett Favre was something like 0-9 playing in Dallas.
Wild how GB just did not match up w Dallas in 90s

Every time Favre went to Dallas he pooped his pants and Madden made excuses for him
15:19 love that line
Was at this game
when dallas had guts and could come back from behind
47:55 Reggie White runs over Larry Allen
Crowing about the one time Rev White did something awesome against the Cowboys? Running over a rookie?

I've been searching years for the 1988 Raiders/Oilers game. If you have it, please upload it. Thanks
Don't have it.
@ sports 1 do you have 1993 week9 rams at 49ers and 1989 week 12 Chicago bears at Washington state 1989 week 12 Atlanta Falcons at new York jets
Do you have Saints/Cardinals Week 9 1993?
Don't have it.
If jerry hadnt run jimmy off the cowboys would have been the first team to win three straight Superbowls.
Doesn't make sense WHYY they just decided to take the knee at 2:11:00 after running a play
1:35:16 The greatest RB ever.
1:38:14 The Packer Smacker
1:46:35 Dismay in Green Bay
1:51:30 The Jeffcoats are coming! The Jeffcoats are coming!
I do not give a F what anybody says, Emmitt Smith is the greatest RB in NFL history. Ran tough, played through injuries, could block, catch the ball and he never quit.
Jason Garrett was a weak passer.
Back when taking a knee meant you just scored a touchdown
The refs were the Cowboys MVP that day
those 90s cowboys sure were trash in terms of personality
The game where Doug Evans got penalized for Michael Irvin's pass interferences. Packers would have won easily if not for the paid off officials. 1:19:33
...says a crackhead
The Cowboys outscored GB 23-7 after that play. You must smoke some really good stuff, my man.
Peace
1:42:15 Poor, poor Favre. If not for that play, GB may not have lost so badly.
1:54:10 Favre crying like a little b1tch
2:00:25 starts a 3 play series showing how awesome Favre is, though.
Brett Favre was 0-9 vs the Cowboys in big D.
