I got these after 3 fucking shipping delays (here is the rundown); I got home, read the directions, charged the Zungle panthers up right away (stated to do so in the instructions), and paired them to my phone. So I am not sure what part makes me mad more the shipping delays or the extremely POOR sound quality that came out of them. Probably the sound quality, as it completely took away all of the excitement and build up of finally receiving them. They sounded HORRIBLE. I wouldn’t expect this on some “bone-conducting” headphones at all. On the day that I got this shit another email popped up saying: “We would like to explain you about our product once again. Zungle Panther is a pair of sunglasses with built-in bone conduction speakers. It delivers sound waves to you by vibrating your skull. On top of an air conduction, a bone conduction is another natural way of our hearing process. Our auditory system receives sounds coming through both our eardrums and head bones simultaneously. People tend to be impressed with the clarity and overall sound quality of the bone conduction technology, but with that being said, it is not designed to offer the best sound quality. Further, as bone conduction technology sends sounds through skull vibration, there exists a natural sound leakage, especially under the quiet environment." So.. now, after receiving them they are not designed to offer the best sound quality?! This is crap. The Zungle Panther Sunglasses are crap. And they currently state on their website: “Zungle Panther’s Bone Conduction Sound System boasts superior sound quality. It provides comparable to normal earphones. Experience a whole new stereo sound with Zungle Panther’s bone conduction speakers on each end of the legs.” EDIT: So now Zungle Inc. is deleting all of the backers comments they post on social media, such as Instagram and Facebook. I posted an honest review of them so that others that were thinking about pre-ordering them via their website would know exactly what having a pair was like and only a few hours later, DELETED! The deleting of comments has happened to multiple backers. They gave a small refund (not the 300 bucks i spent) and then blocked me on their facebook and Instagram then I sold this garbage. Just don't buy this

How are people not going to see a giant pair of what look like headphones sitting right under your ear? The point of these is to leave your ears uncovered and yet still be able to hear things like you were wearing headphones. Some want that for safety, and others, like myself, would want it for comfort since you'd be able to hear things without something in or on your ears - but also have privacy. You don't get privacy which is a huge part of any headphone or headphone replacement - unless in fact the sound leakage is much less than it appears in this video.

It seems like they were pretty awful for the price of $300.. Sound leakage is a big issue, sound was disappointing even for a bone conduction headphone, and they were way too tight to wear comfortably (Zungle tried to make it as tight as possible to make the bone conducting technology work, but still failed)
I prefer the earbuds video you did that you actually put in your ears but you are still aware of your surroundings and can clearly hear them both ends.
De Grandi It's pretty decent, good budget earbud for music. 2 or 3 hour battery life and not good for calls unless it's windy out and you have to tell anyway
Been using the Aftershocks Bluez S3 at work since you made the video on those. I work as a technician at a factory and they just work perfectly in an environment where it's important to be able to hear dangerous situations arise. I don't even feel them on my head. Agreed the sound quality isn't to be compared with real headphones but I think they're on standard Iphone ear-plug level. I love this technology!
Also it opens the door for people who can’t hear good or anything to hear music again on the go. That’s a point that many people overlook and this is the good alternative.

used MILSPEC conduction units before, albeit it wasn't for music, it was literally just for coms, which worked amazing. the downside and the reason why many operators use over ear, powered and insulated phones: if you're in an environment that exposes you to SPL's that can damage hearing, conduction units offer no protection unless you wear cups, which defeats the purpose of stand alone, powered, over ear units. that being said, i'll likely buy these for hiking or bicycling in my off time.
Bone conduction is actually designed originally for hearing impaired people. They actually put a stainless steel screw into skull behind the ear and an awkward little box hangs off of it no tech involved pretty basic. I've actually been on the hunt for these type of glasses as I'm def in my left ear and my right is going fast but no luck so far.
I need these for multiple uses on my every day to day. I have to rock tunes while doing anything physical like yardwork, biking, boarding, prospecting and whatever the heck you may be into. No matter what it Is, if im out with someone else, i gaurantee that im going to be shouted at or miss conversation completely. Ive always been aware that tuneing into my jams and out of everything else was potentionatly dangerous. This product makes many activities safer and eye protection is a must with so many outdoor activities. Im constantly hanging my earbuds over the top of my lobes to be able to have conversation and these are cool enough to be the coversation. Win-Win if you ask me . Now what did you say they cost? The hanging over ear works so must be priced right. I can see these being as low as $50-$80 on low end & upto $150-$250. I would love to see a in ear option built in to these. Maybe pull out arm tips that excepts a fitted foam plug. These will combined with the eyeglass computers and all functions will controlled by eye movement. The person who starts modifying popular eyewear brands to have this tech added is going to be the 1 that takes this invention from the as seen on tv level to lock case display
