The stadium was very full and there was a nice atmosphere, but after all it was a normal atmosphere and not so special, for a round of 16 final. Last Friday against Salernitana (Serie A) I saw a beautiful light show while the speaker announced the lineups and when Inter entered to warm up. I don't know if "sobriety" is imposed by UEFA. I was also at San Siro in the three Champions League group matches against Benfica, Salzburg and Real Sociedad, but I don't remember if there were special lights.

I was sitting in sector 108 right next to yours 😂. An Irish Inter fan who tries to get over to as many games as I can. Bit of a shame there wasn't a big display from Curva Nord because of the ban, but still great atmosphere. Did you by any chance go up or down there stairs that had water flowing down it? Toilets were flooded, one thing with San siro is how terrible the toilets are😂😂

I’m very VERY biased - but we have a pretty damn good fan base. Champions league nights and the derby are on another level. So lucky to have seen a few of the big ones before we lose the San Siro.
Fun fact: i live in a city that is 1 h far from Milan, here there was a team that 10 years ago was pretty good for the serie b (we also risked the promotion) well the ultras of the curva nord of my city were friends with the curva nord of Inter, so there was a banner of Inter's curva nord in the other curva
I don't undestand how could you talk of a balanced game, we absolutely dominated, we had many goal chances on top of the one that we scored, while Sommer did not have to make ONE save.
You definitely should’ve scored more, but I thought Atlético looked very comfortable in the first half and seemed solid defensively. Inter definitely deserved to win though.
