My falling off and getting into grief always started with someone saying “Let’s just have one more beer”usually it was me saying it.
Removed that temptation followed my plan!

This is possibly the most important mind set any person needs to have. You're doing good things for the people reaching out to ya. It would have been cool to have run into in the legion. Right around I was leaving, you were coming up. Oh one thing I notice here on RUclips is there are a lot of SOF guys making content and a lot of other guys from the community coming out calling everyone on their bullshit. I have no idea what the hell is real anymore when it comes to the internet, but for something like RUclips to have drama like that with people that most of the world population look at as professional, hardworking, motivational, inspirational guys is just sad. It just shouldn't be a thing in my opinion. If someone is a true bullshitter they will eventually out themselves. Just watch your six when it comes to all these guys on social. You know how dudes talk shit. Just not all realize there's a saying about talking shit. In my near 7 decades of Living, I realized sometime ago, Lifestyle is like flipping a coin of risk between Life or Death. At some point , I had to choose, to continue my lifestyle or divorce it. TC....I fell off on Saturday. Started off great, but then with my beautiful lady I kinda lost my way and kept having those devils brew when I should have stopped. I was on the cliff and should have stepped back, but like an asshole I leapt off and found myself on Sunday morning humiliated, embarrassed and ashamed. She was gonna leave and she had every right to. However, I watched a few of your videos and got humbled, take ownership, and said things will be different with changes and I will do it. I think the reason people relate to you is you’re genuine. We all have slipped and the old saying goes Pride comes before the Fall - That is a true saying. Personally I’ve had some dark clouds and been through similar circumstances with UCMJ and deploying and having that uncertainty over my head. I’ve been on top of the mountain and came tumbling down that thing at break neck speed. (Actually once literally 😂) Granted going from being a Frogman turn Legionnaire is freaking gnarly and an awesome story. Stay Classy 🏄🏼♂️ 🌊

Life can sometimes help you fall off too.
I’ve injured my hand and had to stop moving weight.
I recently decided screw it I trained up to the night before my hand was diagnosed as broken, I’m just going to keep training but I just can’t find my mojo…
I still run 3 to 8 miles a week but I need to get to the gym.
Gains at 58 years old are hard come by but go quickly and easily.

yeah, it's being able to sit with the uncomfortableness in lieu of distracting via 100 forms of distraction that is really the crux of self balance/strength/recovery

I can relate to this. For me lately. It’s been a course correction. Still putting the workouts in, even on my vacation.. When I did Security, most people treat it in derisory sort of way and it's seen as a joke of a job and the long hours, you can't fall any further, but I'm from Art background, I'm not a bad painter, and so watching people, looking at people's behaviour, Who are the office snobs and who are

I fell off and have been picking up pieces last few weeks… really made a mess of my marriage and got kicked out of the house after freaking out on her on some medications and she won’t speak to me.. been focusing on myself and using the pain and embarrassment as fuel, you aren’t alone tcav… if she ever talks to me again I’ll make my amends and hopefully all is well

We are souls, and the more we delay the realization that matter and these stories ultimately don't matter, the more painful the awakening will be. And life will wake you up, and it'll be more painful the longer you wait.

T I was just in Tampa last week ,I came out of character yesterday cleaning my girls brother place thinking where is dudes 3 brother's dealing with police and coroner I said some shit too my girl hurt her feelings when she was feeling like shit already over her brother I was pissed having too move shit by myself but got control of myself and made amends to her

I wanted to ask you, will you make a video about the differences between regular SEAL teams (1,2,3,4,5,7,9 and 10) and DEVGRU?
I'm not sure but I think I've heard that there are some differences between DEVGRU missions and those of other SEAL teams.
Tcav I notice you are a little tired in this video, you seem to be doing a lot of travelling recently, busy guy, you should read the story about Crazy Horse in the following book (The Journey of Crazy Horse: A Lakota History by Joseph M Marshall) he talks about the concept of Crazy Horse being a 'Shirt Wearer', plus there was nothing crazy about 'Crazy Horse' he was one cool dude. Might I say, since you began to regain your sanity in and after the Legion, you have what it seems to me, set off down the path of ' The Shirt Wearer'.
Tcav thanks for making this story and posting it, even though you are a lil burnt out in it, thanks for reaching out to your subscribers, it shows great strength and character to keep the flame burning even though you were running out of fuel after a long day, but you know command is a lonely post, you have begun to walk this path, so walk it.
Ye know something, when I am tired after a long day, I sit down in a dark room with a cup of quality coffee and look into a candle flame or fire for awhile, we are the only creatures on the planet (Dear Mother Earth) that evolved alongside fire, we actually need it to be around it to remain sane. My old Gran in Ireland was a flame reader, she could read a fire and read people, not their thoughts, their spirit, she could see past an act and help that person regain there true composure.
That's what I like about you, even if your mood is off, you still put up a story, you are not afraid to show you are not perfect, you have been exposed to how broken high high society is since you left the Legion, you have discovered that even the people you thought had it together, in most cases don't. We have four faces, one for the world, one for our close ones, one for ourselves and one for our sleep world, but the 'Shirt Wearer' doesn't, much is expected of him or her, like you, he does not hide.
We all fall off the horse, get washed down river or get shot clean out of the sky, that is how we learn, the past is kind of like a guide book and the future a blank page to improve upon. As for success, it can be like pushing a rock up a mountain that has no summit, that is if you are going in the wrong direction. They say if you live long enough you can begin to see the same eyes in different people, therefore if this be the case we should see certain patterns emerge before we fall off, therefore don't fall off, dismount and walk for awhile until you are ready to get up and ride hard again. Sometimes people loose their confidence after a fall, so sometimes its important to show people who have fallen off how to 'stop crawling along the ground and get up and fucking walk', this you do with style.

However, l must warn you that the etymology of the word Alcohol can unlock its true face, the word Alcohol derives from the Ancient Egyptian words for “body eating spirit” it’s named after an Ancient Egyptian Demon, push it aside man, not even if it’s a special occasion, it will weaken you and catch you off guard. It’s like the old oak tree, it was sown on the side of mount, a craggy, dry rock face that’s only companion was the brutal north-easter that would whip up around it periodically and brutally engage in a conflict that seemed, to the growing oak, an unmerciful and personal attack.
Yet, the wind was just doing its thing.
Over the years the older and wiser oak came to realize that had it not been for this brutal war between his now appreciated friend and himself, his roots would never have been stretched and extended to the depths that they had been and his capacity to endure and grow would have been nought.
The majesty of this stupendous oak was forged during the combative battles against his friend, the wind.
We have to recognize that the things that come against us have two sides: a potential to teach, mature, deepen or, for the weaker side of us to capitulate and suck our actual or perceived sores.

Great video but I'm going to challenge you on the idea of "winning" this game. I know what you mean when you say that, but to me that's just a way of disguising aggression. I think a better way to think is in terms of making a contribution. If our time on earth is finite, the goal should be to make a positive contribution and not to think in terms of winning or losing. This is change in attitude that everyone should consider.

A wonderful thing about the USA is that a guy can do some dumb things and yet still remake himself. Dropped out of school? Sign up at the local adult education place or junior college.
