  • The crew leaves the Quality Inn in New Liskeard and head up to the Forestel in Val'dor Quebec. This the first saddlebag tour for Serg, Nav and Dave and wow did they get a great first day of trails. Dave misses the corner getting the T-CAT stuck in some good snow - almost heading into the creek! Mike talks about his new found love for the BCX and in typical Italian style, Serg feeds the guys with some trail-side dried sausage at the warm up shack. This was one one of the guys best days on the trails for sure!

    I know what you’re saying about the BC.
    I took my Expedition Extreme turboR on a trip to Quebec this year, had the same affect on anyone who rode it. So much fun! Transfer and traction is silly, can lift the skis whenever you want. Wheelie monster.
    I little more work through the twisty stuff but worth it for that fun factor

      Right on! I'd love to try one of those. Everybody in Quebec runs them. Nobody buys trail sleds up there. Cheers, Mike

    Great video but I cringe at all the asphalt riding. 😖

      It was just that one town (Ville Marie) we went to for breakfast. If you don't go there there is virtually zero road running in that area of Quebec. Cheers, Jesse

    • @sledaddicz

      Not bad unless in very hardpack conditions and with single carbides. Cheers, Mike

    Hey Mike, any regrets not getting a 2 inch lug instead of a 1.6? I am thiinking about getting a backcountry and any opinions you may have would be valuable. cheers!

      My son has the 2.0,great track but only downfall,and important one ,it can't be studded for trail use

      I wouldn't ever go 2" based on some of the guys I've been speaking with. The biggest I would ever consider is 1.75" since I primarily run trails with it. 2" is too much for trail riding and will run hotter. I already have scratchers down all the time with the 1.6". If you do more off-trail than on-trail then a 2" is fine. So far, I'm loving the ice cobra track. Cheers, Mike

      @@sledaddicz What about the smart shox....are you missing them on the BCX? The r-motionx?

    • @sledaddicz
      @sledaddicz  Год назад +1

      @@playden70 The X suspension definitely isn't as good. I'm going to be doing a full review on the sled over the next week or so, so stay tuned for that one. Short answer is this sled would be much better in an XRS shock package or yes even with smart shocks too. Cheers Mike
