My guess is that most of the supposed sex going on is by individuals from North America and the western European nations. I would guess that the middle eastern and Asian countries do not participate based on language barrier, religion and social customs.
Thanks, Nick. I'm a lifelong Olympic junkee and love your takes on all T&F events. Your 800 event is going to be so exciting on men' and women's side. Clayton Murphy looks sharp...Athing Mu looks like a force of nature.
Broooooo you're the man it's like you let us know exactly what we want to know in running, Olympics and even just life. Keep em up man just got some run gum going on long road trip can't wait to try it 👍
Only being a 8th grader already makes me so much slower and behind everyone else but after watching all seniors on the team run I picked up something from all of them but the only thing I didn’t was your kick which helped me to be able to beat them through the last 200 meters I just want to thank you for helping become one of the best freshman in the country😁
That's true 800m is one of the greatest and one of the latest events in Olympics, it's not ideal schedule for hooking up ☺️ in terms of optimal athletic performance.
Sounds like they need a secondary village or segregated area for athletes who've completed their events. You shouldn't have to rent spaces outside of the village in order to stay focused. Surprised this system hasn't been upgraded or modified.
There’s way too many swimming events and the swimmers are assholes that’s the way it is every Olympics. And the dudes fuck everything that moves when they’re done with their events and they stick around the Village for over a week of nothing but partying.
He obviously is understating his knowledge of what went on there. I'd like to see a tad bit more honesty when he said he can't speak for what went on there.
@@creativity.studio4967 Like I mentioned in another of Nick's videos, I was told many tales of the OV antics by participants. This was in the 1980's, things may have changed, but I doubt by much. It was confirmed that people who couldn't even speak each other's language were hooking up, attracted by sheer animal magnetism to each other! And coaches trying to act like chaperones, unsuccessfully.
@@cgarc131 He has a video where he mentions USADA slightly when talking about Coleman, and said he would go in-depth into the experience (hints to some embarrassing and unspoken truths).
Just getting into your content, super dope! As a fitness follower your vids have great insight into things. More Olympic secrets in the next one right?
The accommodations at winter games are a lot nicer. At Beijing in 2022 they had smart beds that you could control with a remote, and the rooms were as big as an apartment
The right training is 10x more important than what you are eating trust me. Stay hydrated and eat food, you don't need to overthink the food, the type of training is more important
Imagine the genetic freaks that could be born from accidental pregnancies in the Olympic village lmao, "Yeah my dad is Jakob Ingebrigsten and my mom is an Olympic Swimmer, just broke 15 in the 5k and I'm in 8th grade"
I'd say focus on trying to adjust to a higher level of competition get ready for harder workouts and long track meets if you're willing to put in the work it's super rewarding and fun I'd recommend training in the off season to get ready for the jump I'm not sure how things are where you are but where I did track the indoor and outdoor high-school seasons usually overlapped so I'd be training and competing from October until June so be ready for a mental drain it's really all mental it boils down to how much you love the sport
In Vancouver Canada, it was transitioned into a typical community where people can live. Although I did hear that the apartments built for the olympians and later sold to residents were built really poorly LOL
5:36: but nick, hows your game? im sure you cud have scored if u put some effort into it. what sports chic wud u have gone for if u cud have had ur pick?? a beach volley ball chic?
Too bad you didn't get laid in the village Nick, I've run internationally and have been on some US teams and after competition was over there was lots of hooking up.
So why are they replacing mattresses with something made out of cardboard. All I have ever heard about the Olympic Village is that it turns into one big f***k fest.

The Olympic village actually sounds just like a college campus, tons of talent with people hooking up and partying
i heard there is a free flow of sex after their events finish (not before) because almost everyone is guaranteed not to have STD's or HIV
also people in the olympics are very attractive

She got piped
LETS GOOO IVE BEEN WAITING FOR AN OLYMPIC VILLAGE VIDEO

This was a super cool video. I had never even given the Olympic Village much thought..not sure why. Thanks for the great insight into that world.

In summary: What happens in the Olympic Village stays in the village....

I see what you did there nick, very funny
I don’t see…
Phelps won an olympic 8 medals in Beijing. So dope you got to see him.

Same tho, my best was 20:34 last year
The good thing about Olympic villages is that they can be converted into affordable housing when the games are over.
Hey nick
Just wanted to congratulate you on almost 30k sibs keep up the good work and keep running everyday
Hey Nick, I am a young runner and I am very excited as I am getting your book!
The olympics start on my birthday tomorrow and that’s the best gift I can ever think of
Happy birthday for tomorrow :)
I missed this format so much
As a runner, how do you continue training in the village leading up to your race? Treadmills, the track, can you run in the city?
Yes
They also have training areas and centers
Appreciate your insight! Thanks!!

Great Video Nick. I always heard the village was a miniature Vegas. Lol
are the apartment buildings separated by sport, country, or just random?
usually a bit of both. Some countries have very small teams and so there may be multiple countries under one roof
My ankle and foot operation is over and I’m rehabbing now to walk. On crutches now. Once rehab is over I’ve 3 leg more operations

are roommates from the same sport? like two swimmers in the same room. or can it be one person from one sport and the other person from another sport?
They generally pair athletes from the same sport.
Do world championships have a village?
Olympic villages should look like a hotel suit

Are you going to stream the track and field events live or recorded? If not, where is the best channel to go for that? Thanks!
This video really inspired me to become an Olympian because of all of the.... competition
This years gonna be a good one
If anyone is single in the village the temptation to hook up must be huge😃
Do they turn the village into well an actual village when the games are over?
Yes they can. In ATL GA State university purchased the village as dorms before selling them to GA tech to use for dorms.
In Vancouver Canada, it was transitioned into a typical community where people can live. Although I did hear that the apartments built for the olympians and later sold to residents were built really poorly LOL

yay! My request to hear about the sexcapades of the OV has come true! Or has it?
Who have you sold your medal??? And do you regret now?
I stayed in the Olympic housing in Moscow, its now a hotel.
