tsubakiboi subbing and checking in, i a r56 owner completely agree with you on this list. i think for me its the expericence of working on them because im entry level mechanic and learning is the best when something is broken. though i love my mini, plus you kinda showed some but the commuity is a big pointer for me because you and other r56 owners have helped me with problems and gave me ideas with parts they use. i love it so much. thank you for helping me it means a lot.

Own a Cooper S R56 this year my dad gave it since i’ve complete my study. Pretty excited to make a built for it. Love ur content keep making them so that i could see ur perspective to the car too. 👍🏻

I agree the new ones are too big, that being said, I have an F56 that came out before they started doing the GPF/DPF and LED lights. The difference between a 2015 F56 and a 2020 F56 is actually huge. The 2020 is a funless, soulless car by default.
absolutely agree. I love the f56 as well, its just the larger 4 door models that lose the mini heritage. F56 is one of the most underrated tuner hatchback platforms imo

It’s called an UltraGauge you can just google it and their website will pop up. It doesn’t display oil temp though, only coolant temp

I dont think you can objectively say it has a big trunk... I have one and it is absolutely tiny. Unless you're comparing it to a fiat
if the rear seats are down, it has a big trunk. i just keep them down all the time because theyre almost pointless as seats lol
