You kept saying “I’m having fun”. As long as you can say that I’d say it’s all worth it. I just came across you and went to start at the beginning. So impressed with a young man facing his passion head on. If and when you say you’ve had enough it’s ok to change course. I can’t tell you how impressed I am! Peace ☮️
I am so impressed by your accomplishments boat owner at 21 and starting our on your great adventure. One thing that I have learned is that life is short so pursue your dreams, do what you love. Always plan carefully the water must be respected. Stay safe
I have gained a healthy fear and respect for the water since undertaking this adventure. There are definitely limits to what can be controlled and what can't when it comes to mother nature
I saw a couple of your shorts. Then I watched the video put out on Sunday 10/13/24. I decided to subscribe and watch your journey. So I started with your 1st video. I really like your video and the voice over on it. I wish you luck with your journey. Be safe!
Just found your channel and subscribed, so what size and kind of sailboat did you buy. Actually, I just read in the comments that you have a Hunter 34, awesome, enjoy it.
Well done, bruh Hopefully you are keeping the narration in future videos. I didnt know what to make of it at 1st - now I think its a cool & unique add. *May have to steal the idea. 🤫 lol
Just discovered your channel. Excited to follow your journey. I'm always looking for stuff to shoot with my drone, and I'm just up the road in Orlando. =)
Damon, I dig what you're doing. I saw a recent episode and noticed your solar panel setup which is what I'm about to do with my Baba30 (on Bimini frames) so I came back to the beginning of your series to see if it shows up in any of your upgrade projects to give me some ideas and confidence. Hopefully, there's something about it in your next episodes. I'll find out as I watch. Question for ya bro... what AI are you using for narration? I'm making some videos too on my other channel (⚓️👨⛵️) but nowhere as good as you're putting out. Well done!
The solar on the Bimini frame has gotten me several scowls from nicer boats saying "it's not the proper way to do it" but so far it's held up through 60knt winds and it was cheap too
@damonrust I don't think it looks so bad. I'm going to replace the straps with SS Tubing for a permanent fixed connection. It will be bigger than yours (replacing an actual bimini top that's ripped anyway). 2ea 200w Renogy pannels 26x54 ea. Thanks for your input.

Best place to learn. Important to learn your own limits in a relatively safe area. Well done!
Binge time I just discovered you channel 😅

Haha yeah I had fun with that but wasn't sure if he'd stay. Might have to bring it back for another video
Liked your intro and conclusion (probably AI).

And for the voice I was using Eleven Labs Ai. There's a free version and it's pretty good

I live on a sailboat myself in Pensacola at 23. let me know if you ever are sailing back through the area
It's a great town for sailing. Especially if you can get plugged in at the PYC there's always nice boats looking for crew on the weekends
what boat you got?
I've got a 1983 Hunter 34
@@damonrust do a tour video, upgrades done.
That'd be fun, it'd help motivate me to knock out a few projects before the tour
