Interestingly, the producers at DreamWorks confirmed in a way that the Bergens featured in the first Trolls and this third movie are the distant cousins to Shrek.

Trolls Band Together is the best movie. It's a big family reunion and the songs were great. Poppy and Branch are a great couple

So this is my favorite from all the Trolls movies, and its not just because of the music.
There are so many amazing hidden details in this movie.. some of my favorites include Bruce, Clay and John Dory.
First off: Bruce(Spruce) was the Heart throb. He was the one who was basically forced to look hot, and work out and stay fit. He needed to maintain his abs. But once the band broke up, he found freedom - and so let himself go. (Which is why he has the "dad bod", not just because he's a dad) he wasn't being FORCED to stay fit. He wasn't being forced to look hot, he was just being himself and enjoying life. So he basically threw away his past life and even gave himself a new name to welcome his new freedom with open arms.
With Clay, its a similar thing. He was the "fun one" so he sought after boring, serious work. He didn't want people thinking he was only meant to be silly. And he's a licensed CPA now.
The biggest detail i love is the fact that they've never been able to pull off the Perfect Family Harmony with John Dory because he always wanted everyone to be perfect. When he was in charge, the only song he even tried to perform was literally called "Perfect", and as we know, perfection is impossible and puts a lot of stress on others to try and be perfect for someone. They never would've hit the family harmony with John Dory in the lead.

Trolls band together is the best trolls movie the songs are amazing, Poppy and branch relationship was healthy the new characters were great especially viva, clay and Floyd and velvet and veneer were evil and funny at the same time
But I thought we were sexies! 😭😭😭 Also, I'm only into these films for Poppy and Branch, when they kissed I was all like "Finally!"

I'm so surprised how funny these movies are. It's a good trilogy. Took me a long time to give them a shot cause I'm not a big fan of jukebox musicals

An out of topic movie recommendation for the next reaction, but since a new smurf movie is coming out, it would be AWESOME if you watched the old Smurf movies from 2011-2013 if you haven't already! In my opinion they were really good, and they were a part of my childhood so I personally love them.
the music went HARD in this movie, and the plot was actually a lot more enjoyable
This Trolls movie is my FAVORITE. I genuinely love it so much, and people moved on way too quick from it. The fan content after the movie was so fun and amazing!
I forgot to add that there's the '' Fake death! '' cliché in this movie. It's a bit annoying 🙁

Am i the only one who finds this movie ok? I like the animation and the music BUT the new characters are not really developped or interresting. Viva is like Poppy, full of energy and happy... that's it! Branch's brothers are all jerks except Floyd. None of them where worried about their grandma or send letters to Branch after they left the group. Also, the guys NEVER appologise for their horrible attitude. That's rude 😟Bridget is not very useful, Tiny diamond is not funny.
I prefer the message in the second movie and the differents trolls too even if the puppets and betty spaguetti people have pretty designs.
It's not bad but not amazing and funny either. I give it a 6\10.
