TRADITIONAL WICKER TREE

Today I went to one of the gardening stores. Walking along the alley, I came across an exhibition of wicker trees.
The patterns have not changed, they are the same as last year.
Mass production of the same wicker tree patterns actually crosses the line between craft and industry. Craftsmanship is often associated with the individuality, creativity and uniqueness of each product, while industry focuses on mass reproduction of the same models to meet market demand.
I believe that over time, mass production will become monotonous, and gardens filled with identical wicker trees may lose their charm and individual character.
That's why I encourage you to experiment and create new patterns and forms. These may be minor changes to existing patterns, e.g. introducing new weaving techniques or using various materials.
This approach is crucial to maintaining the uniqueness of each garden.

Czy wokół drzewka, poprzez korzeń mocno rozrastają się odrosty? Czy utrzymanie go zajmuje dużo czasu? Pytam jako osoba o ograniczonych zasobach czasowych.
Serdecznie dziękuję za inspiracje wiklinowe, ale mój mąż już łapie się za głowę, bo później na jego głowie spoczywa utrzymanie tego w porządku 😊

W pierwszym roku należy obrywać wszystkie wyrastające gałązki na pniu. W następnych latach formujemy koronę drzewka. Z odrostami nie ma dużych problemów. U mnie się nie pojawiają, może to zależy od odmiany.

Cena tych drzewek mnie zaskoczyła. Wczoraj byłam w centrum ogrodniczym i u nas kosztuje 80 zł. Wysokość taka sama
