These lectures are great for reminding me how I’m nowhere near as intelligent as I think I am. I’ve never felt dumber than I do when trying to understand Dr. Craig’s material on time. But it helps me appreciate Craig’s scholarship all the more.
Go over his material over and over it becomes easier to understand over time… maybe not fluent in understanding his lessons but easier..
This entire talk feels like an exercise in thinking deeply about shallow nonsense.
Is this gibber jabber on tenseless time supposed to mean anything 🤷♂️
It takes Craig 20 minutes to arrive at the (never before explored) conclusion that god lives in a tensed time... except for when he didn't-got it. Fascinating.
As a screenwriter who occasionally makes a living writing, a word of advice: just because you can use a thesaurus to replace every other word doesn't mean you should 🙃
@@mikeambsgreat example of using too many words to express an idea.
@@InvestigadorTJ This is very true! I remember listening to Dr Craig's debates and content back when I was in Highschool and the majority of the material would simply fly over my head. It has been quite a few years since high school for me now, but I have kept on listening to the content over and over and while I haven't formally taken any courses on philosophy, theology or even apologetics, over time I have become familiar with terms, concepts, argument, etc. and I understand much more now than I did back then! Makes me appreciate the content all the more!
