Then he stopped playing for BM for almost 20 months until a little bit before Tokyo Dome, and since then he has always been using 7 or 8-string Strandberg for BM. During that time his own band plays djent, which is why he started using more strings I guess. Takayoshi Ohmura once said the reason he likes 7-string is because no need to downtune. Leda probably learned that as well later.
