This is a Strat style guitar, which is one of the easiest to disassemble. The only major difference in disassembling other styles will be more soldering required.
@@TomPetersonRefuseReuse I'm sorry, I thought I saw a video of yours where you were using a heat gun. Must've been another site. Thanks for responding.
Hi, I’m a bigginer and recently we had a typhoon and my guitar got wet. I don’t know how to dismantle it so i went with my instincts. I removed the screws on the pick up and I don’t know how to fix it

I found a bucket of stuff two days ago and thought of you. Wish I had a way to send you some of my junk.
I seem to find enough, but yeah, it would be cool if we junkies could trade our junk, all around the world.
Another great job. A unique piece, lots of style and lots of creativity ... Thanks for sharing.
Thank you
I really dig both the paint and relic on this one.
Thank you
That’s beautiful work Tom!
Thank you!
Very good result. Nice relicing too.
Thank you!
Very good Tom, great idea for a vid. And a terrific result on the guitar! Cheers mate.
Thank Mark!
Hello there, how did you do so that the tape lines were not straight, I see that the finish of the lines is irregular
Nice video tnks 4 sharing
I'm not sure what you mean, but I do cut shapes in the tape, and also I tear it to give a look similar to Van Halen's guitar.
Thank you
Hey man. Did you plug any of the screw holes when painting or did you iust leave them?
I don't remember, sorry. I've painted dozens of guitars, and if this one was a Van Halen paint job, I probably didn't.
When you use a heat gun to strip the old finish, what temperature do you set the gun to?
I don't have or use a heat gun.
I was using a small sander.

Yeah, I don't like completely stripping guitars. I did it once, it was a mess.

The wiring got wet inside
Let it dry out and test it.
The only HARD part is the wiring 😕
Really?
Hey what brand is this guitar?
@@Pauliewalnuts-1 I think the brand was Spectrum.
