Hi mate, I was wondering if you could help me out as finding this info has been a struggle. Currently I'm using my phone tethered to my PC to game on, I get decent speeds but the ping/latency is higher than I would like. It's mostly fine but certain fast paced games are noticeable. Would using a 4G router provide me with a lower latency compared to my phone? Thanks
Interesting question. Depends. I wouldn’t think so because essentially they are the same thing. But the real question is, is it the ping between the wifi and your device? Or between the mast and your wifi.
@@WingingIt yeah it's a tough one, haven't found anything online. In any of your videos do you compare the 4g speed test between the router and a mobile device?
@@Jezzy95 not in any videos, but I have done privately before in response to questions and I haven’t found much difference. I still have my phone on normal 4G separate to the router and that’s the same

Quick question does the 4g wifi you use have a strict Nat type as the EE 4g wifi I have does which prevents me from playing certain online games
Mines Type 2, so moderate.
Great video dude! Quick question, is this good when it comes to online gaming?
Yes it is
Mines ran 10 devices for my TV phones tabs n laptops without a glitch I'm going find sim today 4 mines as after 4 yesr they cut us off 😅
How do you check the data usage on this thing?
You normally get an account through your sim provider.
What is the website called
Quick question does it have to be a vodafone sim or can i put any sim in it?
If you can find the device or any other router on it’s own you can easily use a SIM card of your own choice
can i use my phones Voxi sim card in this?or must it be a data only sim card Voxi does great deals unlimited deals and uses Vodafone network
You would have to buy it separate. But I no longer have this router and I don’t recommend it.
@@WingingIt why dont you reccomend it ?

@@Jezzy95 No I don’t, but from personal experience when I’ve tested them regularly it’s always been roughly the same
😂
