your most likely not doing anything wrong it's tuff to play Tank and Melee in Frontline this season less resistance and the crowd control nerf hits Tank and Melee much harder, most lobby's are now filled with people playing ranged rolls with big groups just spamming Crowd control, I reckon on the next big patch we will see some balance coming to this.
its also harder to do crowd control on tanks and melee since you need to be up close and the nerf going from 3 to 2 seconds hurts those rolls more whereas now with more playing ranged rolls because of resistance nerfs there is more crowd control spam from ranged jobs this season @@MyBlackguy

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I go in with my team, get two attacks off, bright lights and then I’m instantly dead. Every single engagement.

From what I've play gnb feels a lot like a warrior(smite terminology) in a moba a little light on cc but very annoying to deal with in a fight
I hope they never gives us Gunbreakers more cc pvp would become terrifying XD
