The Hmong New Year in Fresno at the Fresno fair ground. It's a very big event with a lot of people showed up to enjoyed good food with friends and family. Get to see so many people dressed up in Hmong traditional clothing. There were also many types of food vendors selling a lot of delicious food.

Back in Laos traditionally the Hmong used the Lao Buddhist calendar (which is the end of the 12th Month). Or ເດືອນຈຽງ. That’s why the Lao call ກີນຈຽງ.

@@judykhaleck8034 Use Google translation. It's not that good; but it's slightly better than nothing. ChatGPT as well as Google BARD are okay, too. Not complex things but simple word or phrase translations... they are okay now. I am sure if you use their premium/paid algorithms, it's even better.
For example, using simple Google TRANSLATE:
"Happy Hmong American New Year" IN LAO: ສະບາຍດີປີໃໝ່ຊາວມົ້ງອາເມລິກາ
Hmong: "Nyob Zoo Xyoo Tshiab".... ENGLISH: "Happy New Year".... LAO:
ສະ​ບາຍ​ດີ​ປີ​ໃຫມ່
Again, it is NOT perfect; but it's about 80% to 90% intelligible.
