Why chose to live in fear throughout your pregnancy just because you watched a helpful, educational video? It’s be a lot healthier as well as smarter to simply trust God that he will ensure your baby’s health and growth throughout his/her younger years and later life.

Good informative video. But parents do not be concern or alarmed you know your babies the best and you will know immediately if your baby is unwell. Babies are very good at letting us know if something is not right with them. Enjoy your baby and don't put too much worry and pressure on yourself.

My little girl had jaundice our bloods mixed when my baby was born, she was in NICU for 2 weeks trying to get her levels to go down longest 2 weeks of my life
Jaundice is very common, if winter baby, make sure to have them in indriect sunlight 30 to 15mins for a few days and formula feeding will speed up the process. Also they shpuld poop more to get rid of it. Mines after 1week went away.

My newborn has cyanosis around his lips all the time. Happened at his checkup, md said no problems as long as it goes away. It happens if they have an episode of severe crying or if they're eating too hard. However, watch out for it, just don't be seriously alarmed if your baby has brief episodes of cyanosis.
I have a 2 month old but he had jaundice and it last longer if you're nursing. Jaundice makes them sleep more and it can be hard to wake them for feedings but they need to eat. Now he's a chunky little dude and no more jaundice
Is there anything you did to help him feed more and not fall asleep while doing so? I have a week old baby and he is always falling asleep while breastfeeding but if he is formula fed he doesn’t and I don’t want to keep using formula
@@kirakline4872 I set a routine of unswaddling, changing diaper, and then feeding. That typically woke him. I wouldn't bundle him back up till he was done eating. If I noticed him starting to close his eyes I would stroke his jaw to encourage him to continue eating or his back. If I couldn't get him to wake I would just wait 30 minutes and try again. My doctor's stressed that he needed to eat every 2 hours and that's the goal but there were some feedings that didn't happen till 3 hours. If your baby has a hat or is wearing a lot of clothes then consider removing a few pieces here or there till they wake up. Breast feeding is warm in itself and alot of babies also use it as a way to soothe themselves to sleep. So they got to be a little uncomfortable to stay awake. Also you'll notice in a few weeks that your baby will eat in 5 to 10 minutes bursts instead of a long 15 to 30 minute feed. It's because the milk becomes more filling
@@mala89328 the cluster feeding is what helps make it fuller. Supply and demand. My toddler is now almost 2. You'll notice your supply increase and drop depending on the day and week. We are down to 2-3 feedings a day as we are weaning. So my supply is low now but when he was teething it would definitely increase because he wanted the comfort. Every mama and baby are different. My baby never wanted a pacifier so he nursed more.
Just got out of the hospital with our 12 day old for high bilirubin levels. Glad it was addressed early, but now worried about some retractions i notice and grunting.
Jaundice is very common in newborns and typically isn't dangerous. Bili lights/sunshine and supplementing with formula usually resolves it in a few days without further complications. But if there bilirubin levels keep going up despite treatment or show up randomly weeks after birth, than it can indicate more serious underlying issues.

Please don't just call a doctor. Most grunting is normal in babies but some other grunting are not normal if accompanied with other symptoms. So let the doctor actually look at the baby. Over the phone may not be enough

2020 had a daughter born on 07/01/2020 and died on 02/03/2021. Then a son was born whose date of birth was 03/12/2022 and he also died on 20/04/2023. What is the reason behind this happening. And the death of both of them was the same.

Doctors and pediatricians will tell you everything is normal and will go away in time with no real answers. They will also ask if it's your child. If the answer is yes, then you'll get dismissed as a paranoid first time parent with no reassurance.
Ok .... My baby has this but no blue skin issues .... I brought up this quick cough she has a lot and the doctor isn't worried .... I also watch her sleep to check shes breathing and when I move her to the crib I have the Angel monitor
@@tierastrong34 it took my baby a week and a half to be all clear basically it just depends on how your baby's levels are most babies can leave the hospital with like a 5 to 12 jaundice and be fine but if it's like 12 to 16 it needs to be monitored more closely usually if it's that level your pediatrician will have you come in to check to see how their doing . If it's higher than that usually they make you go to a hospital and have your baby go under a belly Rubin light. As long as your having your baby being seen I wouldn't worry . Best thing to do is keep them feeding because them pooping helps get rid of the jaundice . They used to let you give your baby water to but I don't think they recommend that anymore bc it's hard on baby tummies

Omg, my two months baby has the symptoms of Retractions breathing and I didn’t know that I was wondering why he is breathing like this but that’s good I saw this video I will contact his Dr. 😞

Doctors and pediatricians will tell you everything is normal and will go away in time with no real answers. They will also ask if it's your child. If the answer is yes, then you'll get dismissed as a paranoid first time parent with no reassurance.

Ok .... My baby has this but no blue skin issues .... I brought up this quick cough she has a lot and the doctor isn't worried .... I also watch her sleep to check shes breathing and when I move her to the crib I have the Angel monitor

@@tierastrong34 it took my baby a week and a half to be all clear basically it just depends on how your baby's levels are most babies can leave the hospital with like a 5 to 12 jaundice and be fine but if it's like 12 to 16 it needs to be monitored more closely usually if it's that level your pediatrician will have you come in to check to see how their doing . If it's higher than that usually they make you go to a hospital and have your baby go under a belly Rubin light. As long as your having your baby being seen I wouldn't worry . Best thing to do is keep them feeding because them pooping helps get rid of the jaundice . They used to let you give your baby water to but I don't think they recommend that anymore bc it's hard on baby tummies
