Amazing work! I am stunned by your highly realistic finishes on armor subjects. I will be using many of your techniques on my Tamiya 1/16 scale Tiger I.
Super informative as ever! I love how the dark pigment on the lighter dirt texture gives the impression of wetness. I also like the spattering. Of course, cheap as i am, i´m wondering if there might be ways to immitate these effects without having to buy a special product. You already mentioned chalk and mixing actual dirt with acrylic paint. Im SO gonna try this! Cheers mate and keep up the good work!
I'm not a huge fan of simulated dirt build-up, however you did a terrific job...and inspired me to attempt. The road wheel mud is made even more authentic, given some of the perimeter holes are invisible and avoiding tendency for some builders to be too consistent with their techniques. Thanx again...!!
Thank you James :) Yeah I feel like I overdid it a little bit on this one but I do like how it turned out in the end. Currently working on another weathering video and doing the mud on the tank right now :)
cant use pigments without getting messy xD Very informative tutorial as always, to be honest I have never heard of 'wilder' but after this vid I may check it out! Keep up the good work! Thanks
Too true! Always a mess...but I reuse them; brushing them back on and then pouring the leftovers back in :) So not much wasted in the end. I like the Wilder products a lot, definitely up there with AK and AMMO and the like.
Love your vids. Saw you used Aqualine dry earth I believe on a Afrika Korps tank awhile back. Where can I get this? Seems like Wilders products are hard to get or sold out.
Can wilder TE-05 light brown texture earth brown be thinned and with what .... I’ve had a bottle for about six months that I’ve never opened and it looks a bit dry
Thanks, I've tried pigment fixer but it just seems to turn the pigment into paint and when it's dried it no longer looks like a dry dusty effect it just looks like I've glooped paint on the model.
I'm not too sure to be honest... I'm the guy who buys everything in store, so I don't know about online shopping, so unless you live near Toronto in Canada then I can't help you much there. Wilder has a website, so that may be a good start. Stores might arry them near you too. But I'll try to contact Wilder and come back to you with an answer if I get a reply :)
They're not available unless you live in Russia. Wilder is now owned by a Russian entity (Adam Wilder got bought out) and because of international sanctions you can't order from Russia.

lordfarnswaller
Yeah, that's why I sent him the link. I didn't know he'd do it so fast though.
It turns out very good! Well done! Do you have something to learn from our brother modeler!
Great tutorial. Thanks
Nice one Evan. Cheers, Fanis.
Nice job
great video. very informative

Wilder stuff is hard to get at the moment due to the pandemic apparently. That is what it says on their website.
great video nice work thanks for watching :)
Great effect
Great tutorial bro!! Thank you for sharing this!!
Thank you Luis :D

+Android 13 just use water. It's an acrylic.
Thanks!
very nice products
I find them to be quite good. As high a quality as anything I've used!
very cool demo :)
Thank you :D
Great tutorial! Where's the music from?
It's from Ace Combat 4 I'm pretty sure.
"Prevail"
How do you seal the dust and dry pigments on the model?
The wet spatter effects attach them on pretty well. Pigment fixer is helpful too, but I don't use it often.
Thanks, I've tried pigment fixer but it just seems to turn the pigment into paint and when it's dried it no longer looks like a dry dusty effect it just looks like I've glooped paint on the model.
Yeah that's exactly why I don't use it very often. Most of the pigments on this could be wiped off, so I just hold it really carefully.
Hello ! Did yousecure pigments with pigment fixer?
No I didn't. When I applied the wet effects by flicking them on with the brush, that held the pigments on a little bit.
Quick question, where do you get you wilder products from?
I'm not too sure to be honest... I'm the guy who buys everything in store, so I don't know about online shopping, so unless you live near Toronto in Canada then I can't help you much there. www.wilder.su/html/buy-now.html
Thanks, I live in BC so I will just have to look online. :)
GJ500 Hornet Hobbies in Toronto should ship to you. It's far, but at least you won't have all those border fees you get when you order from the US!
Thank you so much!
Are these still available, or are thet discontinued?
They're not available unless you live in Russia. Wilder is now owned by a Russian entity (Adam Wilder got bought out) and because of international sanctions you can't order from Russia.
@@Panzermeister36 so is there no other way to get wilder products anymore? live in germany btw
