- Example problem demonstrating the process for determining stirrup spacing in a reinforced concrete beam. This video includes creating a shear envelope due to live load placement.
I was waiting the bell notification from the best RUclips teacher. Thnks..
And he's BACK.
Say, would you be able to do a detailed video on the Incremental Dynamic Analysis and how IDA curves are drawn?
If you do, you would save a lot of people a lot of pain and suffering!
Awesome video, as always. Keep 'em coming.
Somehow i've never seen a shear envelope before, great video.
Not studying SE anymore but pleasure to see the videos
great video! clear and straight to the point
This is very helpful. Thank you so much!
Absolutely love this man❤
Hi, can you say in what part of the ACI I can find the Vu > 1/2PhiVc comparison? Thanks, love your videos!
Can you solve problems for fluid dynamics ???
so for a distance of 27 inches and spacing is 8 how many stirrups we would use?
Do I have to add half length of column to d ?
why do we need to combine the shear graphs?
Why was it not necessary to do a third analysis with the live load centered on the beam?
To get view of shear envelope.
sir where did you get 108 to find the total length
Let me rephrase my question....you did an analysis with the live load at the left end of the beam and one at the right end of the beam....why was an analysis with the live load centered on the beam not necessary?
I know this is a little late, but for anyone else seeing this, you must draw the influence line (Muller-Breslau Principle for example) to visualize this. Then you'll see why they didn't do a distributed load centered symmetrically on the beam.
Concrete design has some of the most weird formulas
