Another possible way to fix crackling audio with bluetooth: Check if your mainboard has an wifi/bluetooth antenna. Plug it in. Sounds stupid but for my Asus B650M E Wifi TUF GAMING it fixed that problem. Hope it helps. Greetings from Germany ✌️

By the time I'm looking for a video online I've already tried all these obvious possibilities like restarting, reinstalling, turning things on and off

There really aren't that many ways to fix an issue like this it's either a general problem fixed with the methods you mentioned, a hardware failure/faulty device or a very specific cause due to certain hardware e.g. motherboard/Bluetooth adapter or software (and these are almost impossible to advise on!)

@@TropicalTech It's bs. I run with those headphones using my phone. Sometimes I move away half my flat. Still work. NOT A SINGLE STUTTER. But with my PC? It's a mess. They keep disconnecting, reconnecting, sound becomes choppy even if I sit still and super close. No interference at all. All drivers up to date. All 'solutions' videos are copying and pasting nothing.

@@jakubs.5966 I am sorry the video didn't help, and I understand the frustration - I've had similar problems in the past. As my comment above said there's a chance the issue is down to a very specific cause, usually because of the hardware or software, if there's 30 different Bluetooth adapters or motherboards, 200 different headsets, 10 Windows software versions, 5 different codecs, 10 different driver versions. you're looking at millions of combinations that makes it difficult to recommend solutions for.
The best recommendation for overcoming this would be to find your specific components: headset, motherboard, windows version etc., and search online to see if anyone else with these has encountered or fixed the problem.
I'd also always recommend trying to rule out the cause, so so far you can confirm the issue isn't the hardware of the headset.

0:26 Lol I just thought to put in my antennas and now they work. Wouldn't think for that without this video!

Sometimes sound issues are caused by the limits of the technology. I have a sound file of white noise that I play at VERY low volume when the computer boots, on loop in the background, with foobar2000 so that the Headphones don't turn off. The battery life really isn't that different. This is for headphones that cut the first or last few seconds of audio regularly.

Didn’t work. I’m trying to connect my razer kaira pro to windows Bluetooth instead Of using the usb c that comes with it. That works perfect. But when I connected to the windows one, I barely move and it cuts in and out. If I stand up and move around, it’ll just cut out for 5-10 seconds before it comes back. It is so freaking slow through the windows, Bluetooth or my motherboards Bluetooth. I don’t know what the hell is going on.

How long has the problem been happening and has it always been the case with that headset?
