Okay!! It did work in my case. I have been using this lip balm for more than 4-5 months and I can see the difference. I won't say a drastic change bringing my old lip color back but it did work. The reason it is not showing huge changes in my lip is because I am a bit irregular with it and I don't use spf lip balm in the morning. But as you said, you have genetically darker lip it would be difficult to get it lighter with just lip balms (if you wish to tone it down) but your lips with a simple non-tinted lip balm can give a beautiful makeup finish and as for people like me who made wrong decisions in life that led to darkening of lips, they don't like genetically darker lips, these look gross (I feel so for myself) and clearly showing all the wrong lifestyle choices.

I absolutely saw a difference in my dark and pigmented lips. I applied a thick layer at night and found my lips peeled in the morning so i would rub off the dead skin and reapply the next morning. Remember to apply spft on your lips during the day. I saw a marked difference within 2 weeks! And ive never seen that with any other lip product.

Lip pigmentation can be due to multiple reasons... health condition iron deficiency etc ...also if you are using so many cosmetic products overtime it changes your lip colour...spf is important for lips as we live in a country where sun is scorching around the year .. Also if you genetically have dark or pigmented lips nothing can change that ... You can eat fruits and have diet rich in iron and vitamin,b12 copper etc ...be hydrated...
Try rubbing your clean dry tooth brush over lips in circular motion. I had darker lips for many years, but this habit did help me plump and lighten the lip pigment as it exfoliates well. Also try piligrim exfoliating serum.
Try turmeric with raw milk n honey mix well n apply n massage n leave it for some time may be till it is semi dry n wash it with warm water... This may help your pigmented kips try it dear❤
Let me tell you your lips are absolutely beautiful.❤❤ But the product only lightens the pigmentation caused by uv light or any other external factor like smoking etc. It cannot cure the lips of those that have genetically pigmented lips. It definitely does help a lot with pigmentation as I have personally used it and loved it. It has been my holy grail. It does have an irritating taste but the product itself is very moisturizing and helpful. U only need to apply a very small amount of it at night ( as it is a hassle in the day time and doesn't necessarily work that well in the day time) and in the day u can apply any lip spf that works for you. You will see the result after a month or so and believe me it is a fantastic product.❤❤
I used this around 3 months. It got oxidized after that, guess what it made lips so worse than before. It formed a black patchy skin over my lips😭. Now it looks so worse. I raised a complaint and they returned the amount, but I don't want my money , I just want a solution to this horrible experience😢
Try biotique lightening lip balm or plumping lip balm. It totally reduced my pigmentation while i reduced the usage of lipstick. But nothing changes overnight. I use it for years but it showed results only when i limited using lipsticks
I had this issue due to lip licking and I went to a dermat and she suggested a product for me (pharmacy product) and it did wonders! The Minimalist Lip Treatment Balm did work a bit - but not toooo much!
Isnt Ascorbic acid the powder used for washing copper vessels? The brand name is sabina powder. Also petambari powder is the same. We used it in chemistry lab all the time. 😂
