Cinnamon Bun and Morty are so adorable bunnies 🐰, together 🐰 ❤️! Snuggle buddies 4EVER ❤! Yummy treats to eat! Nom, nom, munch, crunch! I am glad Morty wants to help CB! Get well soon CB! There's no place like home! Have a great day CB and Morty! Bunnies 🐰 Rule!
The new vet seems to take great care. Must be a lot of work, if he cares that much for all his patients. I wonder if he takes that much time for everyone, or just for VIB's (very important bunnies).
Aww Cinnamon Bun!! Hope you get better soon 😢 Morty is doing a good job keeping Cinnamon Bun's eye clean and her spirits. It's so heartbreaking seeing your loved-bun in pain.
I'm sure CB and Morty appreciate how you went the extra mile to get her the best care and weren't satisfied your local doctor was doing enough to help her! All the extra steps the new one took was reassuring, including calling to check on her... It's great that the other hoom noticed she might be getting hay dust in her eye when she was putting her face in the feeder! It's helpful to play detective and notice things that she's doing differently from Morty's behavior. And yes, it's great to see her eat with gusto again! Seeing her feeling better makes me want to jump around like Morty! 😊🐰
Thank you! 😊🐰 I'm glad we were able to find a better vet that seem to actually care about their patients. They still can't figure out the exact cause of the issue, but I think they provide a proper care. We don't know if the issue was really caused by CB putting her head in the hay feeder, but it's a possibility. 🤔 We're all happy that CB's impressive appetite is back! 😄🐰
I can't believe a vet clinic would put a rabbit on a waiting list, anyone who is a bunny owner knows how volatile and life threatening illness in a rabbit can be.....My bun Ariel began exhibiting troubling signs that she wasn't well and within hours I took her to the vet where they administered emergency procedures and she stayed overnight there....I visited her that night and gave her a cuddle then went home.....The next day I went to collect her but she'd passed away, all this within a day and a half!!.....It's good that the other vet was more thorough with CB but it's still troubling to me that you have had to go through this stressful process to help her but as usual you being the wonderful pet owner you are you did your level best to help her.....Just a hint for you, I believe the eaten down hay stalks in the feeder are acting like little spears and stabbing the eye as she goes in for another bite, they look very stiff in there....Watching the footage, I notice she seems to turn her head to the left a little as she reaches into the feeder so possibly that eye isn't closing properly and getting stabbed, so I think what you did with the feeder will do the trick....So, happy she is well again despite everything!!....All the best.
Yes, any illness in bunnies should be treated quickly. 3 weeks wait is absolutely insane! I’m sorry about your bunny. It’s scary that things can get worse so suddenly and quickly... I hope changing the hay feeder will help CB get better. It’s frustrating that the vet can’t figure out the exact cause of her eye issue, but at least she’s feeling a lot better now. 🙂🐰👍
Get better CB! We had a bunch of who got an eye problem which needed some meds. I often wonder if the hay can scrape the eye a little. Poor CB! And poor bunny mom worried about her. We understand.
Can you show how you cleanedd CB's eeye in more detail in another video? Baby is ok but as you well know, because of the dearth of bunny doctors, many x, bunny parents have to figure things out ourselves and it is good 2 know just in case. Ty! P.s. Might I suggest rather than a hay feeder, just fill a litter box with hay to avoif probs.
I just put some saline in the eye and gently wiped the area clean. Not much to it, but I'll try to get some footage next time.🙂👍 It's very hard to find a good vet who really knows about bunnies. 🤦🏻♀️🐰 It's true that we sometimes have to figure things out ourselves and also do a lot of researches for our bunnies!🐰 We didn't use a hay feeder before, but we started using it because they waste a lot of hay (especially CB). Now she can't put her whole head in it, I hope it's a little better.😅🐰
@@CinnamonBunMorty Ah. Yes. I waste a lot of hay too but somehow Baby has the innate ability to pummel everything so I figure just use the litter box, extra hay and all. But with 2 buns, hay must add up.
I love these bunnies. They are so cute. I want a bunny, but my daughter says my two cats will not like them. I don't really know. These two bunnies are so cute together. I would actually want two of them.
Thank you! I heard that some cats and bunnies get along, but it could be risky since cats are predators. Two bunny are better than one because they keep each other company.😊🐰👍
@@CinnamonBunMorty yes it is OR, when u have a professional bunny vet and they just treat symptomatically and don't want to get to the source of an issue. My vet is so good and known him for years and he raised rabbits as a young boy but I am disappointed and somewhat confused as to why he doesn't/didn't go any further with Hubie 😞🙏🐇 It's all a learning process 🤔😒
@@CinnamonBunMorty aww, thank you for asking about Hubie. I am sad and feel bad for him every moment. He is having much trouble getting around, keeps falling over, not using boxes and pretty much stays in my kitchen, which is ok by me. He still has an appetite, wants certain foods, still not touching hay which is sooooo frustrating 😢!!! Still incorporating critical care in pumpkin and unsweetened apple sauce. He still is not drinking much water 💦 so a bit of watermelon 🍉 every day. Don't want to do this but he needs hydration!! I still water his greens down before giving them. It makes me feel good that you asked about him.☮️💕🐇🙏😇 Thank you again 🤗
@@fab4ever That’s good that he’s eating at least some things, and eats watermelon and greens for hydration. It sounds like you’re doing a great job caring for him. 😊🐰 Sending lots of love.🐰❤️❤️

For quite some time, I've noticed that longer captions aren't left on long enough for me to entirely read & I have to rewind 10 seconds to re-read. If you have any control over this, please allow more time for captions. Thanks.
Felt sorry about CB’s health 😟 You are really taking good care of her with the help of Morty of course 😊 Did you wait 3 weeks to take her to the new vet ? Very happy to see her health is improving .🤗🙏
Thank you. She’s doing better now.🙂🐰👍 No, we went to a different vet the next day because we couldn’t wait for 3 weeks, but we kept the appointment with that vet. We’ll see how it goes and we may try that one too. Hopefully, we won’t have to.🐰
Wow, so strange my bunnies eye has been doing the exact same thing. Its impossible to get her in with a vet. I thought it maybe is allergies, or pinkeye. I had pinkeye medicine on hand I was applying. It got better for about 1 month and now its doing it again. She is eating and acting fine. I also live in NM. Rio Rancho . Maybe our hay comes from the same place😮. Whats the name of the oral and eye drops the vet prescribed. And does he think its just allergy to hay, Its frustrating how it doesn't get better. I actually really think its allergies to the hay or something. Please post if she gets better . Thanks , sorry for all the questions .
Interesting. 🤔🐰 CB’s on meloxicam and using eye drops called Tobramycin. We usually get hay from Miller’s in Los Ranchos, but I heard that they’re going out of business so we’ll have to find somewhere else to get hay. We lived in Rio Rancho area for few years. Our new vet thinks CB may have some kind of allergy, but she didn’t specifically say it’s the hay. It could be anything… It gets very dusty in NM and that could be something to do with it too. We’ll keep it posted how things go with CB.🙂🐰

I hope changing the hay feeder so CB can’t stick her whole face in helps solve the problem. Could she be poking herself in the eye from the hay? Getting a good bunny vet is hard! I have 6 bunnies that all go to the same vet I found that I like. A two hour drive away in Phoenix. I spend a ton of money at this vet, including doing exams every 6 months and RHDV2 vacs. The vaccinations are more expensive than doing the clinic. Also I tried to get to know the front counter staff well, (it helps going there frequently and never cancelling or missing an appt) I get VIP treatment now and can get short notice appt’s.
I don't think she pokes her eye with hay because it's always just her left eye, but I think it could be caused by inhaling too much hay dust because the vet thinks it might be an allergy. It's really hard to tell what exactly is causing it, though. It could be anything...🤔🐰 It is hard to find a good vet for bunnies! The doctors in NM aren't the best (including doctors for humans). I think Phoenix has better doctors in general. That's great that you have a good bunny vet and get VIP treatment! 😀🐰 The vet bills are seriously expensive.
