Also, I have another hint that may be helpful. It seems to be an anti-AI that seems to usualy work. (for me at least.) The forward+B for the iron sword seems to be a horizantal hit that always hits ende when he is going around you. Works really nicely with the hercules sword.
@Xmeep not all people have master unlocked at the time and don't want to start over when they do finally unlock master, though. Master is the best in my opinion, though, heh. Unless you love being someone like Nightmare, though. In that case, barbarian (for nightmare), etc.

I use all-girl armies. They kick serious butt like this. I've never gotten this far, but I'm sure they'd cream him. Like how they smothered Aurelia into the ground this one time. I use sages with Cassandra style and Setsuka ninjas. I love her fighting. It works every time. I end it all with a Xianghua dancer. They rule.

I fought him, he totally owned my ass, but then again, my party that I attacked him with was an lv 56 swordmaster with wave blades, a lv 41 swordmaster with a rapier, and an lv like 21 swordmaster with sword & shield, and how do u get the soul of ivy, cervantes, etc? Oh how I loved murdering Ende for all my time he wasted, but I wouldn't stop till he died, took me 2 tries. I wanted to kill him using his own sword, but he survived before I could give him the finishing blow, so I ended up just using soul edge on him with my next character.
you have Nagamasa from samurai warriors :) there are cheap ways to win against Ende i always use barbarian with hercules sword (B B), knight with sacrifice (A+B) or ninja with Yaesumuji(sickle) (A+B) always use same attacks even if they block it will still hurt them.
he was friggen hard when i did it it took at lest a hour to beat him with my custom dude and i had soul of kilick so i ketp putting him on the ground xD
Ende is a straight up badass. Just, he is destroying me considering the fact that not all my characters are in the best shape. (My best for Ende is my level 70 knight on a hercules sword). The only way I beat him was making him to his own sliding kick of the ledge. Best. Finish. Ever.
well, they are almost equally tough, just that strife lacks the skills ende has, since hes a swordmaster and has the highest stats compared to all other jobs. Even though Ende tends to use the same moves all the time, its hard to avoid him due to his high agility -.- cheap hits are the way to victory xD
hey! You have a lance! Just swing in in a cirle when you like walk to him. It's neirly impossible to break the attack. ^^ On ps2 it's L2 i think. Click on it all the time :)

Cool characters, I used my own as well, barbarian ~ lv70 can do it.( I did it, ringed him out once, I think.) just use Hercules sword and abuse vertical attack. Trick to this guy is timing, watch his attacks and counter openings.
compared to this guy, i suck with the lance. my stategy with it was always to bait my enemy to come closer so they get a spin attack, but this guys aggressive. it took me Aeneas to beat Ende and Strife
ehm, wtf? your characters are all around level 60?? wtf? when i played it the first time, only two of my characters were around lvl 50 ?_? Well, nevermind, about beating Strife, try to use a character with Soul of Talim equipped + her Soul Calibur and spam A+B->mash A, then B. it mostly deals direct dmg or, when strife guards, breaks his guard and deals damage as counter attacks. Its a cheap way to beat most characters with low lvl heroes. Well, but its all about a bit of luck xD (strife's hp..)

why doesn't anybody try soul of ivy? if u go next to an opponet and press L2 repeatedly, you'll swipe them off of their feet and processed.

u get the soul of ivy and vantes from getting lvl...i dont remember if its 50 or 30 but you have to get to one of those in the pirate class.

it is really the hardest chronicle (with strongholds and retreatment) , i think it took me 5 days just to beat all of the baddies there.

Ende is hard but strife is harder since u can't revive ur chfaracters, anyway nice job beating him with that little exp.

I highly doubt that a lvl 1 charater can beat him. unless you can predict his attack and gaurd impact all of his attacks and counter.

yeah lance is nice but you dont use the best attakt but kunai are the best i need only one kunai character ant he was lv 49^^
