Love Erics voice. Being an Australian I am a huge John Farnham fan and would love for you to review John performing this song live with the Australian Symphony Orchestra. This song is an anthem in Australia, much loved in Australia, as is John. Enjoyed your reaction.
I came to say the same thing. I’m all for reactors reviewing covers.. and I think Erik did a great job- but this song is basically the Australian anthem, and it is owned by Mr John Farnham AO. The only right thing to do here is to watch John doing this song live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Australians are very protective of John but moreso we are protective of this song. A number of people have asked me what I think of Erik’s cover.. vocally it’s a 10/10 but it isn’t a performance. This song must be performed and performed live with an audience, it unites people and its power lies in something well beyond the lyrics themselves. ❤ 🐨
Eriks voice are so beautiful, emotional and smooth. It does not matter what kind of songs he covers. He nails them all 😀🇸🇪 Jona Tee are on keys, Jona also plays most of the instruments in Eriks covers, and does mix, master and production. Erik and Jona was bandmembers in HEAT, and was also together in New Horizon
Erik has such a versatile voice that he can sing any song and nails it. I would highly recommend you checking his other covers on his channel. He never disappoints 😊
Great version of a fantastic song by the incomparable Johnny Farnham, when he was on stage there was a piper front and centre to play the bagpipes, love, love them. I play them myself, so I am attuned to that sound whenever they're played!! John is making a recovery from his battle with cancer and it's great to hear Eric has also beaten this rotten disease! Well sung Eric ma' man!
He is Amazingly Talented! Good on him not sitting around feeling sorry for himself. Love the bagpipes as his 'back up singers'! Thanks for sharing this one Ken!
Thanks for this reaction.❤️🔥🎶. Erik has a control after his transplant this Monday and everything looks great and he is now recovered from his leukemia.❤️🩹❤️❤️🔥🫶🏼 This song is amazing and one of the songs from my teenager era.🎶❤️😉 It’s Jona Tee from Erik earlier bank “H.e.a.t”, playing keyboard👏🏼and they still doing lots and lots of work together. They are both Swedish. Thanks and hugs from.🇸🇪
I'm first watching this notice😊one day I'll promised to meet u, Ken! So much pleasure.. really supported u so much over here, I hope u're not boring to make reaction videos🎉every u upload I noticed
Erik Gronwall has an incredible talent. I’m mesmerized by his vocal control, range, and ability to (seemingly) effortlessly transition between techniques. Thank you for this reaction.
👉Props to Erik, he does a very fine job on this cover. However it's almost a crime to miss out on reviewing the original. John's performance with The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is truly something spectacular to behold. That said, rather than doubling up on this particular song, perhaps you'd care to review John's version of the Beatles classic "Help" from the same Melbourne concert - you're bound to have have a great deal of fun dissecting his prodigious vocal abilities on Help! 🎶🎙👍
This John Farnham epic song is like an unofficial anthem in Australia and so i urge you to please react to the original artist live at the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra so you can understand what those of us are talking about who love and respect his talent and have been at his incredible live concerts.
Cool facts with bagpipes, already at early 70´s AC/DC use 3 bagpipes player in a officiell video. Cant remember what song it was. But i´ll check it up and link ih here for you Ken to perhaps react to ? Keep em rolling 🤘
Ao glad that people are discovering and covering this amazing song. Powerful but not quite the power of the original by John Farnham. No one sings it like he does. You should check out the original by John live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra
Have you heard John do this live?! This does not compare at all (no offense). I know this is not an easy song to sing for men. John has an incredible vocal range, power, agility. I would LOVE to see you react to John Farnham singing this live with the Melbourne symphony orchestra please! ❤ you will wonder why you have never heard of such a legend!
Please if you’re a vocal coach you MUST watch this legend our very own John Farnham - there’s almost NO COMPARISON! ruclips.net/video/6m2m_9Uijso/видео.htmlsi=padGztc_Fgo1dziL
I wholeheartedly agree with your comment. 🎉 Such a shame that so few have heard this epic performance outside Australia, though that is changing a little as more recommendations are made. I love his incredible interpretation of HELP by the BEATLES too. Once I heard him live at his concerts...there was no going back to any other version. ❤
This track, and so many oth the other songs that Erik has recorded, just makes me think of a lot of discussions I've had with classically trained musicians. Some (most) of them seem to belittle us "rockers" for not being schooled right or whatever. I've been a rock singer (baritone) for close to 50 years now, and I've been getting a lot of ridicule from my classical peers. But if my technique is a bit different, and we still reach the same goal, what does it matter? If it sounds good then go for it! Yes, I can sing classical. I have been trained clasically. But I feel that the classical approach to singing limits the power of the lyrics. Sometimes you have to put in a bit of fry or other "effects" to get the message trough. I think Erik is the best of both worlds.

You already have reacted to the Song, so I would understand if you won´t react to another Version of it, but: Dan Lucas Version is phenomenal imho, it´s actually from "The Voice Senior (Germany) and I would really like your reaction to it. Thank you for all the great reactions Ken! I appreciate your kind words and expertise 😎🙏
As an Aussie, you have done John justice, probably the best cover of this song ever, yeh Tommy J was good, this was great.
Eric, you're an absolutely phenomenal singer. I loved your stuff with Skid Row! May you go far my friend!
Erik, you are amazing. Your covers are some of the best performances of any janra I have ever seen in my 50 years ❤🎉

Yes, it's almost a crime not to review something from John himself, his concert with The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is simply outstanding!

It's Jona Tee from H.E.A.T on keyboard 🤩😍
Thanks foe reacting to Eric. He has a great voice
He killed it and that fellow on the piano was pounding it for all he was worth
LOVE his voice. ❤️
So glad he's healthier now. He sounds wonderful. God bless you Eric.
He does it justice. I like his voice. Yes - bagpipes are part of the original.
Omg he is so perfect❤

Erik sounds great, not the darker voice like Farnham but 👌🏻
Tommy Johansson did this cover too! 👌🏻🇸🇪🇸🇪
Love Erik’s voice and the way he interprets a song. Thanks for the r/an…always interesting.

You should react to his Idol audition where he sang 18 and life. There he was young.
Jona Tee on the keyboard probably. His bandmate in H.E.A.T is making a lot of music and producing. A mastermind.

Recommend you listen to Erik Grönwall and Tommy Johansson together in a cover of Sabaton "Carolux Rex". It's absolutely magical 🤩🥰😍
Love your reaction! Please react to his new cover All by myself🤩
Being from Belgium I know only the version from John Miles (Night of the Proms) 🤣, very nice this version 🤩
Have you done the original? Do you know the original? Have you heard the original?
👏👏👏
I really can't decide who does this song best 🤔 Erik Grönwall or Tommy Johansson. I think I chose both 😀🇸🇪
John Farnham - the original and best, no competition (listen to the live version with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra if you decide to check it out)!
thats original yes

susanne sundfor did this cover, too. and it's damn fine
Pls react to one of my favourite tracks ever... Its Antimatter - The third arm. The lyrics and his voice gives me the goosebumps.
Love Eriks voice 😊
Suggestion for you to react to:
Avenged Sevenfold- Roman Sky (live at the grammy museum) ❤
Now do Blind Guardian's version.
Erik and Dan Vasc has done some covers too! Go check them out.

Why no Tommy J?
Why no John F?
Dude, no shade on Erik, but he is no John Farnham.
React to Farnsey's version live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
Bag pipes are part of the original, maybe find a John Farnham live song on the tubes and do a review 🤷♂
Bagpipes for sure
Sorry. There's no comparison to the Voice himself.
