Sylver is a Belgian eurodance group that became known with the song "Turn the Tide".
The members of the group are vocalist Silvy De Bie (born January 4, 1981) and the keyboardist / composer
Wout Van Dessel (born October 19, 1974). Regi Penxten (Milk Inc.) is arranger / producer and co-writer of some songs.
Silvy began her musical career at the age of nine in the Belgian television series De Kinderacademie (The Children's Academy).
Due to Belgian legislation, work for minors under 16 is prohibited, interrupting their career temporarily.
Later she returned with a band named "Lance".
Wout is a well-known DJ in Belgium. Wout and Silvy met in the house of the DJ to elaborate a single, "Turn the Tide",
which immediately became a hit, especially by the weird clip, as it features a fatal Silvy as a doctor.
Sylver does tour in several countries from Africa to Asia.
In 2001, Sylver released his first work Chances, which included the single "Turn the Tide".
The single reached eighth place on the European charts, and in eight weeks went to the second place.
Soon the album reached the 49th position of the 100 best sellers. The next single "Forever In Love" also reached the charts.
The second work, Little Things (2003) did not achieve a great success, with the singles "Livin 'My Life" a great song with a clip ditched, and "Why Worry".
On November 2, 2004, the third album, Nighttime Calls, was performed. The first single from this album, "Love is an Angel",
reached the top 10 in Belgium (20 September). The group uses synthesizers, guitars, metals among other instruments.
The new album was released in May 2006. The highlight track is "Lay All Your Love On Me" by the famous ABBA group.
