Heating is not something fixed by software update , its metallic body plus its gpu boost which is its selling point , Is bound to get heated as it doesn't even has a liquid cooling system

For overall performance: 1. Pocophone f1 2. Mi max 3 3. Honor play But if im going to base the overall performance base on my everyday usage: 1. Mi max 3 - big screen, big battery, mid range processor. I do hope that the rumors about the snapdragon 710 is real but if im not mistaken xiaomi already announce that its just a rumor. 2. Pocophone f1 - im not that a heavy game user but it may change once i experience the SD 845. 3. Honor play - those heating problems is really a big issue. I dont think i can still put it in my pocket once its heated. Overall its a good review. I do hope you can also show us the RAM management of all phones with the same apps installed but then again thumbs up for doing our request.. 👍

Hello! How do you get all the buttons to fit on the Pocophone for PUBG?? On mine, the "Alive" indicator cuts off, you really can't even see it. A lot of things cut off for Pubg on Pocof1. Why does your F1 not look like that on Pubg? I have MiUi 9.6 or something of sort. Not 10.

Im a student and i got a Note FE for daily use , and i recently ordered a mi max 3 for the gigantic screen and battery for my youtube and anime binge lol. The poco is a good phone if u just have 1 phone and want all roundedness but it doesnt have the stylus i use and the processor doesnt really do much for my video watching. But yeah great review, im so excited to get my huge but still pocket friendly screen (unlike a tablet)

In Pocophone it seems there is a problem about notification icons in the status bar. (No icons show up) and we have to pull down to see the notifications, battery percentage, download speed etc. And it can not be corrected by software update, as the space is too less because of the oversized notch.

Ordered the Poco F1 for my son, and the Mi Max 3 for myself. I love big display & battery, while my son enjoy one hand devices and gaming. Lots of bang for your buck these days, and XIAOMI delivers top of the mid range phones. Huawei seems to struggle with their SOCs at this time. Seems much better to stick with Snapdragon, due to performance and battery drain.
I do. The phone is amazing. But yet the camera is laggy even i use the open camera it get stuck and bluetooth has some issues connection to my headset. Hope they will send updates soon

Cracked screen on my OG Mi Max, and been trying to get hold of a Mi Max 3 since they came on Aliexpress, now poco phone is out its hard deciding between them, just don't know if I could go smaller then 6.4" again
I have had my Honor Play for about 6 months now. Overall, it has been a pretty decently performing phone, but I hate it. Why? Because of EMUI. After using EMUI for 6 months I have grown to absolutely hate it. It's a shame, because if it weren't for that I'd love the phone for its performance at such a low price. I got my Honor Play for only £200 refurbished, which was an incredible deal, but I simply don't enjoy using EMUI. It doesn't really affect my daily usage of the phone, I just hate the experience, along with the grimy, stingy feel of the software. It also gets very hot when gaming, and the Mali GPU can't do much in more demanding games. One issue that is a real issue to me is, since updating to Android 9, I cannot use my HyperX Cloud II headset with the phone *unless the microphone is plugged in.* This means I can't use my headphones outside of the house without looking like a buffoon. Before updating to Android 9, I could use 3rd party apps to force the audio to the headphone jack, even if there was no audio device detected, but Android 9 blocks that completely. I am considering selling my Play and buying a Mi Max 3 instead. The Mi Max 3 was the phone I originally wanted, but my dad told me not to because it was a global version not a 'UK official version'. (Sorry for the negativity! I tend to rant a lot :p)

Im almost convinced that its the POCO (as soon as they launch a Global Version with all LTE bands) but recently another beautiful beast came up: the Mi8 SE. I reviewed the Mi 8 SE a while back, and while it had a lot of great features I think overall the Pocophone F1 still provides better value (SD 845, Faster data speeds, Larger screen albeit not AMOLED). Also the Mi 8 SE has only ever been released in China, and it will likely never have a Global release, so I think you would probably be better served by Pocophone F1 with more broad LTE band support. Hope this helps!

For me I think all glass screen are fragile, it'll break at some point, so I guess it's a matter of how you take care of your stuff.

Cracked screen on my OG Mi Max, and been trying to get hold of a Mi Max 3 since they came on Aliexpress, now poco phone is out its hard deciding between them, just don't know if I could go smaller then 6.4" again

I have had my Honor Play for about 6 months now. Overall, it has been a pretty decently performing phone, but I hate it. Why? Because of EMUI. After using EMUI for 6 months I have grown to absolutely hate it. It's a shame, because if it weren't for that I'd love the phone for its performance at such a low price. I got my Honor Play for only £200 refurbished, which was an incredible deal, but I simply don't enjoy using EMUI. It doesn't really affect my daily usage of the phone, I just hate the experience, along with the grimy, stingy feel of the software. It also gets very hot when gaming, and the Mali GPU can't do much in more demanding games. One issue that is a real issue to me is, since updating to Android 9, I cannot use my HyperX Cloud II headset with the phone *unless the microphone is plugged in.* This means I can't use my headphones outside of the house without looking like a buffoon. Before updating to Android 9, I could use 3rd party apps to force the audio to the headphone jack, even if there was no audio device detected, but Android 9 blocks that completely. I am considering selling my Play and buying a Mi Max 3 instead. The Mi Max 3 was the phone I originally wanted, but my dad told me not to because it was a global version not a 'UK official version'. (Sorry for the negativity! I tend to rant a lot :p)

Hi. Great video. Im in the market for the best deal for the price smartphone so it was very helpful. Im almost convinced that its the POCO (as soon as they launch a Global Version with all LTE bands) but recently another beautiful beast came up: the Mi8 SE. All the great materials of a Mi8 with a superfast SD710 and almost the same price as de MiMax3. So Im lost again. Any thoughts? Thumbs up to Frankie Tech and to Xiaomi!
Thanks Wilfredo! I reviewed the Mi 8 SE a while back, and while it had a lot of great features I think overall the Pocophone F1 still provides better value (SD 845, Faster data speeds, Larger screen albeit not AMOLED). Also the Mi 8 SE has only ever been released in China, and it will likely never have a Global release, so I think you would probably be better served by Pocophone F1 with more broad LTE band support. Hope this helps!

Yeah exactly Rolly! But it looks like Honor Play fanboys are not really happy with my findings, I’ve had to delete a number of abusive comments on this video. People just don’t want to hear the truth: Poco is a better phone for gaming than the Honor Play!

I like your vids but speed comparisons by opening apps is useless. Many factors in play such as the manufacturers standard animation settings etc.

dude poco phone is good only in the few weeks u get it after the heavy duties and long use gaming and others stuffs the hidden secrets of pocophone starts to show like the screen bleeding and hanging of some apps even woudnt let me download some apps on play store ,i had to switch to honor play which av been using for a month now i play games alot trust me av not had issues with over heating its just normal as normal as pocophone though just a bit slightly hot but trust me honor is bae
