Ratcliffe is a business man and a very very casual football watcher. He ONLY cares about a new stadium and the income it will generate around the area of Manchester
The fans ARE the club! Alienate the fans by making their access unaffordable, and you have no club! The fans didn’t waste millions on abysmal recruitment, vastly overpay very average players, pay millions to recruit a director of football then millions more to sack him a few months later. The people who made these atrocious decisions should be payng the price, not loyal fans who struggle from day to day to make ends meet.
Sponsorship is a form of income that is scrutinised by the Premier league . Attendance and ticket prices are also a form of income. Why are the premier league not scrutinising this as well
If United were to somehow miraculously turn things around on the pitch and did the treble in a few years, what would the fans be saying about the ownership/ticket prices etc then?
Manchester United before the Glazers was a fully functional multinational company. If left alone united the company would have a hefty bank balance with no debt
As much as I think the fans shouldn’t pay for the Glazers mismanagement. But when you call yourself a supporter. Supporting the club via financial is a good way of showing it. If you can’t afford the season ticket. Give it up to the thousands in the queue who can afford it.

People don’t understand this. Because of PSR rules Ratcliffe can’t just throw his own money at it. Just look at Newcastle. So as Jordan says one of the levers to make the club more profitable and generate funds for transfers is to raise revenue I.e. tickets prices. Not saying it’s fair or correct but how else are they gonna improve seeing as past recruitment has been awful. Yes the fans are being asked to dig them out of the hole

Well, they're Manchester United, aren't they? You gotta pay top dollar to see the best team in the world. So much history. All the titles. That's worth at least £66.
If Sir Jim is a true United fan why would he stop people who are capable of wiping and reseting the clubs financial obligations and who are capable of reshaping the greater Manchester area with alot of economic opportunities/growth from buying the club instead he chose to help the Glazers ... And the fans and everybody around the club are suffering.. He is not a true fan.. Just another business man who are preparing to suck the club dry in couple years
Any idea what Sir Jim was going to charge for a photograph?
Ratcliffe is looking more and more like Gordon Burns every day.
“Comes down to London” from where? Buckinghamshire?😂
Poor billionaire extorting working class fans.
No need to say anything else...😂
Ratcliffe should be regretting the move
And the likes of rachford earning more money in a week than the average guy earns in 10 years
Ratcliffe looks like he's aged 30yrs since he been at man u
Couldn’t happen to a better club and fans
Ratcliffe is a business man and a very very casual football watcher. He ONLY cares about a new stadium and the income it will generate around the area of Manchester
He was a Chelsea season ticket holder before he bought man utd 😂😂
CLEAR THE DEBT AND DON'T HIRE AN ACCOUNTANT TO DO TRANSFERS!!!! SIMON U MUPPET!!
‘we just want an owner who will rid us of the debt, buy all the best players and put us back top to where we belong’ 🤣
Sponsorship is a form of income that is scrutinised by the Premier league . Attendance and ticket prices are also a form of income. Why are the premier league not scrutinising this as well
To translate the letter for the fans who wants the Glazers to sell
YOU CANT SELL SOMETHING NOBODY WANTS
Jim Radcliffe is Ken Bates II. Following Ken's playbook to a T. Tough medice to swallow, however it saved both Chelsea and Leeds...
Tickets are only 66$? I have to pay like 400$ from scalpers
What is Simon Jordan talking about. Most fans wanted full sale.
it's not the Fans Fault , so what are they gonna do ? EASY SELL THE CLUB 100%
If United were to somehow miraculously turn things around on the pitch and did the treble in a few years, what would the fans be saying about the ownership/ticket prices etc then?
They'd want them out. Everytime United go ahead in a game, the first chant you'll hear post the celebrations is 'we want Glazers out'
@@Steve-kl3yl Right. What about SJR?
Manchester United before the Glazers was a fully functional multinational company. If left alone united the company would have a hefty bank balance with no debt
No guarantee new owners will make the club play better.
This continued defending of the Glazers is shameful from Simon
What about shareholders not taking money out and reinvesting?
A huge amount of money has been sucked out by the Glazers on an ownership model that was never for the benefit of the club.
We wanted a full sale and the glazers out!
As much as I think the fans shouldn’t pay for the Glazers mismanagement. But when you call yourself a supporter. Supporting the club via financial is a good way of showing it. If you can’t afford the season ticket. Give it up to the thousands in the queue who can afford it.
3:14 The Glazers took the upside when it was good.
And want to take while it's bad, too.
They refuse to wear the hard times, though.
Why should kids and pensioners fund that?
You can't take the upside and not the downside, good saying
But what are the upsides currently...
PIF bought Newcastle and we had no debt! Our previous owner didn't spend a penny to Improve our team. PSR got worse when the Saudi bought us. Tbh I'm glad we are doing it the right way instead of buying our way to Improve. Let's not forget the big six brought this all on themselves.
I meant the situation Newcastle are in. If I understand correctly you have all the money but can’t spend feeely because of PSR
RATcliffe is here just to make more money out of working class.
People need to wake up 😂
Simon is wasting his time explaining the intricacies of the economics of football to these lot. At this point they'll never understand
why have they not delt with the players , why do they have to get away with every thing
Been a united fan for 35 years. Time to boycott. Watch on illegal streams. Give them nothing.
It’s not about PSR. Man United is a business and has generated debts due to bad decisions like hire fire hire fire. They need to go into administration or pay your debts.
This guy. The majority of Man Utd fans wanted Qatar to buy the club to get rid of the debt of this great club. Main stream again they are the ones that didn’t want Qatar to take over 🤢🤢
Fans don't care much about who owns the club. They just want bragging rights and trophies 😅
Who's stopping the interest payments? Think about it. The glazers have never ever had an intention to clear the debt. And sir Jim, regardless of what anyone thinks, why would he/should he clear a 1b debt that a) isn't his and b) if he did, the glazers could literally just take out loans against the club AGAIN because they still own 75% of it. He'd be an absolute mug to clear that debt before he owns the club outright. I wouldn't do it, and I doubt anybody else would either whilst still holding just 25% of the club
P.S not everyone wanted Ratcliff.
The only people that can afford Man Utd would be imo someone from the middle east 1 of the oil countries but they'll not be allowed to buy more than 1 club in England in a way am surprised they havent been bought already that shows in my mind that they have no interest in selling the club
Simon is missing the fact that the debt created by the Glazers hampers Manchester Utd. One of the biggest clubs in world footbll should and could be self sufficient. The Glazers are the worst thing to happen to Utd since the Munich Disaster!
