    • @SweetLivingByGrace

It's a bit different for men. They are the ones who have access to marriage, so they are the "customers" if you will. Our job mainly is to look great and their job is mainly to provide. Women generally prioritize PROVIDING over attractiveness when it comes to men. Women can't get married to a man unless he offers it, you have to give them what they want first in order to get what you want. We only have options on the type of men who offer marriage when we're a HOT commodity. So that's really the only time attractiveness is factored in. If he is overweight, but is a high earner and respected in his community, you won't care too much about his body. If you're not HOT, you have less to no options. Even a decent fat man has plenty of options, but not a woman.

But how do you get away from a parent who insults and criticizes you in your weakest moments? my mom never bought me clothes because she said it was too big, department stores (in the 1980s) didn’t have my size. She said I’d have to go to “the big woman’s place”. Destructive. I would go back home, dejected, shaking with fear of what she’ll say next. The worst part is I never had clothes for school. CHANGING THE MINDSET TIP: Changing the terminology we use helps build the right mindset. We are never losing weight because our brain thinks lack automatically and we want to feel in control. To gain control use the words “release weight” which tells your mind I am in control and I don’t need to gain the weight back. It’s the same principle when we lose money, we feel the need to run and gain it back because we feel a loss of control. I don’t even say the word diet at all because once again your brain hears “I am lacking.” Hope this tip helps everyone on their journeys.
My highest weight was 289 and I’m down to 214 as of today. I still have 64 to go.

I just think that if you consciously rejected somebody because of their appearance, if they change their appearance, they're morally off-limits now.

So how did she lose the weight? Naturally or Surgically? She is pretty either size. I'm also planning to lose 100lbs, I don't want to be 140lbs though. Glad she's making progress and skip the haters luv. 👍

I hope she learns to love herself because I know all too well what self hatred feels like due to cruel words. She's gorgeous! She was beautiful before with the weight and beautiful after. I applaud her for choosing to be healthier. First step of loving one's self is being healthier. Better for the body. Best of wishes to her!!

See this is the problem, people allow these trolls to dictate how one should feel about themselves. First and foremost if you don't add value to a person's life your opinion is invalid. Secondly many of men and women are running to surgery risking more problems to meet the standard of this cruel world. I wonder as a fluffy myself do these individuals really feel good or is it a facade. The things you felt about yourself doesn't go away once surgery has been completed
