- Today we will make our Winter Rose Lip balm. It's a vegan recipe using bayberry wax also known as Myrica wax. It's a really simple homemade DIY recipe using delicious rosehip oil (my rose element), coconut oil, sweet almond oil and vitamin e. If you want to learn how to make a lipbalm without vaseline at home that leaves your lips soft then this could be for you. Bayberry wax is great for the skin and a wonderful natural protector. You could even add a pink colour to get a tinted version if you prefer.
WINTER ROSE LIP BALM
10g Myrica (Bayberry wax)
5g Rosehip seed oil
10g Sweet almond oil
5g Fractionated coconut oil
0.2g Vitamin e

Castor wax is also quite nice, especially when including castor oil in the lip balm 🙂
Love castor
good morning. I'm your new subscriber, I'm from Switzerland, your videos are wonderful, your voice is so serene that it sounds like a lullaby. you are wonderful thank you so much for passing us your knowledge❤❤
Can you replace the vegan wax with beeswax?
Yes but you would need to use less as beeswax is harder than myrica wax
OK, do you have a suggestion for amount?
@@kristajoycrosby8848 I''d start with 5 or 6g
I've made a similar lip balm with different ingredients, works great! For sale, what perservative would you recommend I use?
