Erina's weakness here is her perfectionism which means she doesn't have the characteristics in cooking yet. Here in Season 3 and 4, I just realized that Erina is the only chef who doesn't have any nickname in cooking other than God's Tongue, which unfortunately is just a nickname for an expert taster in the culinary world and only relies on her accuracy in perfecting her dishes through her super level sense of taste without having her Initials-Style in her cooking. Erina is very educated and a genius in culinary knowledge without missing anything, but with all this knowledge she has not been able to mix dishes according to her characteristics. That's why Erina, when fighting Momo and in the last match with Souma against Tsukasa and Rindou, Erina just had a cooking characteristic where she made dishes with a simple style and appearance but tasted heavenly.
Okay so I know that Soma is totally gonna surpass his dad and all but that ending would seriously be disappointing. I expect seriously so much from this anime so if it ends like that.... Don't know how to express myself lol! But you understand the point! :)
