The way Lara applauded the orchestra and everybody at the end…I love her for that, she’s a gem. Despite her incredible career she remained humble. Also, she was very sick that day but she killed it. This trio is amazing.

Lara, in a tv interview, said that during rehearsal for this, Aida nodded her head toward Dimash and said, if I have to run out for something, he can sing my part, and burst out laughing ! They all burst out laughing and couldn't pull it together. Everytime they started to sing, one would look at the other and start laughing, including Igor, and they had to call a break. She had the audience and me laughing in the telling ! She is a delight.

@@DQ_Forever I was in England and can't remember the name of the show ! It may have been a French one, as I recall, I think she was speaking in French. I'm racking my brain, one of those star interviews, one on one and she was recalling favorite moments and referencd this time and in seeing it, remembered immediately. She was candid about her deep fondness for him, what a brilliant but humble man he is and of his enormous talent and Aida's as well. They showed a clip, but they were in different outfits in it and evidently it was a huge show with successive performances.

He inspires you both as an artist, real professional and as a human. This was the concert for Igor Krutoy’s 65th birthday. He is worth $13bn. With him you have got everything money can buy at a concert: big orchestra, big choir, ice skating and some of the best singers of this planet. Krutoy came out of retirement to compose for Dimash after watching him performing “Sinful Passion.” At the same concert Dimash sang also a duet with Aida Garifullina: “Ulisse.” It is definitely worth watching, too. Let me give you some info on this incredible trio and event:
• Igor is there as an overall lead because the event is built for him: this is his birthday event that he organized with all his favorite artists, the ones that he is used to collaborate with
• This is not the first time that Lara sings this song (composed by Igor) in trio but the third time: she performed in the original version with Dmitriy Hvorostovsky and Alina Yaroyava then again later with Dmitriy and Sumi Jo, before this new trio with Dimash and Aida. The song was composed from day one with her voice in mind. She has been collaborating with Igor for more than 10 years and he has told from her that she is “the best singer and the best songwriter he has ever worked with”
• This also explains why the song does not exposes more of Dimash’s upper register: it was written for the late Dmitriy who was a pure baryton.
• Lara was very very sick that day, with fever and strong medication but she is skilled enough to have made it unnoticeable
• Also, like Dimash, Lara does not sing in her real « comfort zone »: she is, as Aida, a lyrical soprano but here she plays the role in the trio of a mezzo-soprano and takes the median register. It requires a lot of voice control to not interfere with Aida’s high note and does not allow her to really shine. She gives room to Aida to do it instead and Aida uses this magnificently.
• Itt was the first time Dimash met his idol Lara: look how quickly he turned to her, despite he has not finished his duo section with Aida 😂 And how he looks at her and hold her after it …
• Lara is the most comfortable in italian because it is her first native language even before french: her mother is italian and while born in Belgium she spent her first 5 years in sicilia before returning there. She also is married to a sicilian man
• Look how dimash slightly adapted his vibrato to better match Aida or Lara
• Also there is a debate about the final note, held for such a long time, with the conductor looking at Igor and Igor smiling: Did they make a prank to the singers by extending this last note? Or did the singers instead played with them? I personnally think this is more option 1 😀
• I forgot to add that Lara has been classically trained for more than 10 years at Brussels Royal Conservatory and still continues to receive voice lessons at least on a weekly basis. And she has sung many times opera pieces or with opera singers.

I remember a reactor once saying, "I feel smarter while watching Dimash". Your comments about wanting to be a better person because of the elegance of these performers reminded of that. You are doing an incredible job just the way you are. We love to find reactors who love Dimash like we do. It is infinitely better than a few American reactors who have said some extremely crude things about him.
Having said that there's a lot about Dimash that drives us to be better. Because he does so much for charity it encourages the Dears to do the same. For his birthday this year the Dears planted trees and bought books for children. He'll never be rich as he donates so much to charitable causes himself.

You can see the entire concert. It’s Igor Krutoy’ 65 Anniversay Concert. Dimash had, if I’m not wrong, 4 songs. All the artist had sung Igor’s compositions. The show is almost 3 hours long. Take care ❤️🙏🕊
Unknowing Dimash had a lifelong fan crush on Lara, Igor loves to tell the story of his introduction of him to her. Here is this always poised, elegant young man, tripping over his own feet, tongue tied and blushing and Igor saying I thought he was sick ! I wish people would leave RUclipsrs alone about drinking or smoking during reactions. It is your time to relax and enjoy life, not be judged. They even complain when people just drink coffee or water.
