This performance is so much more epic when you've watched the documentary. It blows me away and I bawled my eyes out. I love the reaction of the people standing there and slowly realizing it is Celine singing to them from the Eiffel Tower.

This was simply superb and a magnificent performance from the one and only CELINE DION. Another beautiful performance of an English adaptation of this song is by MARY HOPKIN. The title was ‘If You Love Me’ produced by Tony Visconti. Again, a beautiful lady with a beautiful voice. Hope that Celine releases this song as a single. A future number 1 hit for sure. I listened to the performance then I watched the Documentary and came back and watched the performance again. So incredible. A horrible disease and to do this,is just a miracle.

This is about the 5th or 6th time I have heard her sing this and I am more moved than ever. The whole performance, every word, every phrase was just magnificent full of hope and love. This song by Piaf is part of the musical heritage of my country and Céline's interpretation was simply magnificent. I think the emotion has crossed languages and cultures around the world, a song written by a woman (Piaf) for the man she loved (Cerdan) and who died shortly after; Céline's story ties in with Piaf's story (the death of the loved one) which makes the meaning and interpretation of this song even stronger and I admit it made me cry. Merci Céline.
