Fascinating. Answers a question I've had. Also, there are newer style low profile composite -manufactured stone or whatever- shower pans too that look much better than acrylic. Euro style perhaps. But I'm sure as far as adapting to the floor it wouldn't be any better than acrylic. I guess it is in the middle between a curbless and curbed shower, but I'm not sure how you keep water in or what you do about surrounding glass.
