    Hi Doctor, thank you for this video. I was searching for some motivational learning techniques for my child and happened to watch your video on Sandeep Maheshwari's channel. Then when I saw this I got so much more information about this disease.
    My father-in-law has been diagnosed with MND way back in Sep 2013 and he lived only for two years and three months later on. His first symptoms were slipping while walking and fasciculations. He had all the progressions as you mentioned. But he was healthy person mostly, he had shingles though four years before his diagnosis.
    What is the likelihood of his genes getting passed on? Any research done on this. Please throw some light on this? TIA.

    cortico spinothalamic or corticospinal tract

      Corticospinal tract connects neocortex and spinal cord. But it goes via the thalamus. So anatomically it is the cortico-thalamo- spinal tract
