You don’t need to activate your windows for mining because you don’t need all features of your OS. For example, when mining you need to disable all security features of your OS for you to be able hash and mine, if your windows is activated then there is a possibility that those features is enabled that will prevent you mining coins.

Like used car salespeople keep the market balanced and provide a product/service, Wouldn’t this be more like the used car speculators who during Covid purchased a bunch the cars and pushed the price of the entire market up? Out of the price range of young and low income to buy a car. Or in the housing market where speculators pushed the price up (the province I live in currently, BC, 9/10 home are bought by investors, not people who need to live in them and it’s pushed rent up to 70% of the average income, about 2k for a 1 bedroom.
You can speculate on markets but by no means is that automatically ethical to do so. A few friends dads are real estate speculators and even their own families hate their guts cause they don’t care about how their actions are impacting other people. Speculators don’t provide a good or service, they take goods and services from people to try to make money. It’s not like he’s going to use this array for a GPU GAN network for ai processing like google does, he’s just a speculator who took gpus from kids and poor people so he could gamble on crypto. The graphics cards I’ve been watching on Amazon have fallen by 300 and 500 dollars respectively in the last 2 weeks alone. All thanks to the Ethereum merge
@@steveo20007 that drop in price of gpus further hurts the miners. Before you'd see ex mining cards going for practically profit. Now they won't get much back at all on top of the mined crypto 😊

The market has been flooded with GPUs for near a year now. They’re extremely easy to get new or used. Used prices have been trending down for a long time, 30 series are well below initial founders MSRP. It’s confusing why people are still saying this.
