I would put that in my camper for quick repairs or fun crafty projects to do on rainy days! My very heavy and expensive Bernina is best left at home, but a small machine like this would be great to have on an extended camping trip or for those full-time RVers! I don’t watch TV and always need something to do at night, and what I like to do is SEW! Thanks for reviewing this! I love it!
OMGOODNESS!! It’s so cute and I don’t need it but you KNOW I want it!! I travel for a living and when I stay at my sister house before I start work the next day I’ve often told my sister that she needs a sewing machine there for me to work on my projects and she said no cause there’s no room. This would be the perfect size.!! YEAH….I may need to get this. 😊
You need a better sister. How much room would a sewing machine take up in a closet? And its a great money saving skill. What does she do with a loose seam or the clothes dont fit right? Throw them away?
Looks like a nice one for piecing a quilt. Perfect size to take to a class or even on a vacation. Dog sitting? House sitting? Now you can have a machine with you! I agree about the reverse, not a good placement.
Looks like a really nice little machine there! Thanks for the demo! They do make even cheaper ones, but a more basic model, less stich choices. Looks pretty sturdy! (and cute!)
I have the Vevor M2 industrial machine. Love it and it’s super quiet… still learning how to use it cuz there is really no instructions and only a few videos out there. I think I got it for under 500.00 from there site it was on sale
I would expect this toy to be $50. I just spent well over $1300for my professional heavy duty zigzag canvas and sails sewing machine and that machine goes thru 12 layers like hot knife thru butter. I could see getting this for a kid learning to sew since everything comes with this. Interesting review, thanks.
Yea its a pretty bad unit. We bought it for our daughter and she was so disappointed and said its a toy too. We contacted Vevor but they said that its been 40 days since I ordered it and passed the time we can return it. We had bought this as a gift and did not realize how short a window they have which they support their products. My daughter s a frail 18 year old and is able to pick it up with one finger its so light. She is working on a RUclips video with her review of it.
That switch is perfect for someone with mobility issues, I can’t sit very long and would be better off standing or be reclining, I’ve been wondering about finding a hand crank !
The reverse would be a huge no for me. That switch will break. They need to redesign that. Otherwise, I agree, it's perfect for someone who does the occasional repair.
It is probably the biggest drawback for me. I don’t know how hard it would be for them to redesign, but perhaps they can make it a separate button or lever, like other machines.
Cute little starter sewing machine. Glad you tested the 3 layers of denim. It’s awesome that included the sewing kit. that would give a beginner a chance to get some sewing done without having to learn to wind the bobbin right away. I would think the scissor is just for snipping threads - can’t see someone getting much fabric cutting done with the shortness of the blade. Did it come with an instruction manual? If so, how did it read? My girlfriend bought me an $80 starter machine to use to do her alterations when I’m in town. I found the pressure foot didn’t lift high enough to get any layers of fabric under it. The thread spool could not handle a regular size thread spool and bobbin winding was problematic. The instruction manual was hard to read as an experienced sewist. It wasn’t written for beginners. It was frustrating to use for me.
It did come with an instruction manual and it was decent. I would have to hand it to a beginner to see if it makes sense to them. I had no issues but I’ve been sewing for 30+ years now. Wow, I feel old! Lol
I know I'm a bit late, but finding your vid today is much of a help. I tried to find review for this machine for quite some times now, but always end up on the seller or store review vid. I mean, most of the time, review from the seller arent as honest as the users review. But Your's HELP! Tqsm.
@@timothytotten9409 how bout denims? Can? Oh ya. What about the gaps between the footer & the surface? I got bought a mini portable machine before, & the gap there kinda, not much. If thin clothing can. But fold it 2 times, cannot fit in.
It keeps the motor always turning forward. Even when machines let you do a back stitch, the engine usually still runs forward. It’s typically a gear that switches to move the feed dogs backward.
Interesting! If it were not for that awkward “reverse” issue, I would buy that in a heartbeat for classes! Being plastic, I can’t see that switch holding up very long if used by an experienced stitcher who is used to backtacking every time. Thank you for the review.
I bought one of these and I’m having trouble with it. I can get a stitch started, but the thread will break randomly right at the needle when returning back into the up position. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi I bought this machine just three days before but today the thread stuck somewhere inside the machine. And then after 1 inch stitches the thread starts broken. I don't know how to open can you please let me know. The thread is stuck in front black areas I can see but can't open.
This question has nothing to do with the vet or machine. I would like to know why you use the sewing foot that I saw that I think was a zipper foot when I was in homeschool. Pam
@@timothytotten9409 so the Vibor sewing machine can actually sew through around 14 layers of thin fabric style leather. I bought the brother from Walmart the other day for $88 and it can sew through 25 layers. It’s very impressive.
I’ve wondered about vevor sewing machines, being generic Chinese products. I would be concerned about what parts and accessories would be needed, if available. They make copycat Juki 8700, and other machines.

Lol! Right?!? I was still surprised how functional it really is.
My granddaughter is always near me when I use the sewing machine. This is a wonderful starting machine…
Can I get this machine in Europe too??
I like the fact they included all the extras, something more expensive ones don't 😊
Yeah, a nice feature. Really positions it as a good “my first apartment” housewarming gift.
Would be nice to have in a travel trailer for basic use.
Yeah, I lived in a tiny house for a while and this would have been good for general repairs and basic sewing.
The review video was as nice surprise. Great video and review!
This would be great for art journals !
It’s so cute. I have there industrial machine and I love it! This would make a great gift for a new young sewer. Thx!
I would love to try one of their industrial machines but they are discontinuing them! Ugh. Which industrial do you have?

There's another youtube video on this sewing machine which they show it tips over and says it's a toy too. Just search for if.
I’d love to hear your review of other makes and models of sewing machines.

Yeah, I think this is still the machine you gift a new user or someone who only needs a sewing machine intermittently.
I was thinking the same thing about the reverse switch holding up, I'd be using it constantly also and could see it breaking easily.
Could this be used to put a border tape on a felt rug ? Or regular tufted rug
Can you make a tutorial on how to use this specific machine?🙏

The machine only came with one foot. I don’t believe it would be a good zipper foot. It was a decent all-around foot though.
Think it would work on thin leather
I have no idea. It was surprisingly powerful but I would have to try it first. I don’t do a lot of leather work myself.

eBay has some, vevor is the seller.
