*I’ve said it before but Serum ought to be paying you because it’s your channel making me want it. 🎹🎵 Thanks for showing these tips making sweet bassline tones. Great tutorial!*
Hi! The "Reesey Mess 2" wavetable is in the "Spectral" category of wavetables, and the Shrats is in the "Digital" category. Just click the bar with the wavetable name (under the OSC A or OSB B label), and find your category and wavetable. If you still can't find the wavetables, then I think you have to update your Serum. Cheers
Thank you so much for this, I was looking for an industrial-type bass and your video super easy to follow, with some very short, yet helpful insight. Your channel is a goldmine for industrial techno. I have a question though: Every single techno youtuber I've checked, uses exclusively Ableton to produce. I do all my experiments in FL Studio. Would you think it's a waste of time to not change into Ableton for an industrial techno production? I know nothing about it's interface, but maybe it should be better to change into it and get a better sound with it's own advantages and "with less effort". Thank again for your dedication, your music experience really shows on this videos.
Thanks for watching! It never hurts to try Ableton if you are curious, but don't feel bad if you prefer FL Studio more. It's also a good DAW, which I was using for the first few years. But the simpler GUI in Ableton made me change the DAW. And, I prefer MIDI clips instead of that weird sequencer in FL Studio.
@@MarcinRajski- Thanks for the quick answer! It's curious how subjective this is, I remember trying out Ableton for the first time and getting super confused with its GUI lol. And in FL I can use the piano roll to make MIDIs in the same way Ableton does, but yeah, I will give AL another chance, maybe its native plugins help more in creating an immersive industrial sound. Time to binge watch your other tutorials. Cheers!
@@MarcinRajski- Much appreciated, i will give it a try very soon. Most of my basslines come from my Novation bass station 2 but this sounds really nice.
These tutorials are awesome, is there any chance you could show a screenshot of the matrix for the bass? I got the general idea of a lot of the steps here, but I'm off enough to where I want to figure out what values I messed up on like with the coarse adjustment and how env1 and lfo 1 tied into level2.
That's a very broad question. To answer it as shortly, as possible.. if the kick is "snappy", has some high-end and mid-end as well (modern drum & bass, for example: current value - cotton punch), you can go away with cutting some low-end from the kick drum, and it will still sound ok. If the kick has lots of low-end (dark techno for example: kai pattenberg - homerun), you need to use a sidechain compression. In both cases, you may also have to use some pocket eq technique, saturation or/and compression on the kick drum.. the list goes on. I could teach you this personally and I have lots of examples of this from my own projects. Cheers!
Thank you a lot,@@MarcinRajski-! I really appreciate your feedback, that brought a whole lot of ideas. I haven't done any track on this genre (currently learning and producing darkpsy) but i get the idea. And unfortunatelly I can't afford your classes actually (cause I live in Brazil and we are on a shitty economic crisis). Thanks again man, cheers and success in your carreer!

Sure, I can do such a video! But I already have a few other videos in the queue, which are also suggested by my viewers, so please be patient. If you would like to learn making these sounds earlier and more in-depth, I can suggest you ordering a 1 on 1 lesson with me. But, of course, this is not mandatory hah ;) For more details, please contact me on my IG (@dr1lmusic) or e-mail (dr1lmusic@outlook.com). Thanks for the suggestion, cheers!

Aw yes, nothing funnier than teaching someone how to swear in other languages! What kind of drums tutorial you ask for? My 2 recent tutorials are about harder techno kick drums, so it's still a drums tutorial in some way..

can you make an ebm kick tutorial?
Hi again! I think yes. Any particular example?
HI Marcin,
I see in these genres that the kick and the bassline are playing at the same time, how do you mix the Kick n' bass?
That's a very broad question. To answer it as shortly, as possible.. if the kick is "snappy", has some high-end and mid-end as well (modern drum & bass, for example: current value - cotton punch), you can go away with cutting some low-end from the kick drum, and it will still sound ok.
