@@redcroft308 rosemary, thyme and ginger taste like soap to me. Appearently it's a certain gene that causes this. They say cilantro is supposed to taste like soap too, but I don't know if I wanna describe it as soapy. I don't care for it though, so maybe😅
@HolyFudgeBalls That's interesting, I've read something like that before. because I'm the exact opposite, love everything else on that list, (tho like anything, you can overdo it) but put one leaf of cilantro in five gallons of chili and it's inedible to me. That's barely an exaggeration. I wonder if I have a variant of the gene.

Just for the record a hot dog is a sweet bun with a savoury filling not a sandwich, you put fondant on a hot dog roll it’s an iced finger, they have been sold in bakeries in Europe for longer than frankfurters have existed 😂 the roll is naturally sweet it’s why hotdogs taste so fucking good you wouldn’t make a mini sandwich with a hotdog roll or slice it and toast it so it’s not bread. but you would put icing or cream and jam/jelly on it and eat it like a donut, it’s not a sandwich, sorry
