If he would have loaded up the tyres on the back of chromino then it would have made it back heavy and that would have produced more drag while winching

He really should change out that rear axle for a 14 bolt FF 8 lug 1 ton if he plans on keeping large tires and spacers. But an easy fix is just ordering custom rims with a proper offset. That would more than likely fix the broken stud issues.
Or just drove it till the wheels fell off and then put a cartoon of the el chromino with smoke coming out of the hood the front wheels with lots of camber and the rear wheels off. Like a cars character when tired or sum

@@trif55 put a drop hitch on it, rear winch, mount's front and rear for an A frame that bolts together that'll fit in the tub. He'll have no problems moving alot of things anywhere around that ranch
Just getting caught up after Spring Break with the kiddos: Winching Tip: stand a tire up under the winch line to raise the object you’re trying to winch to keep it from digging in to the ground. Also, put a weighted blanket over your winch line. Synthetic lines don’t whip as bad as wire but they can under extreme stress.

Matt, I love the 1078 bro! a couple of recommendations are to drain your air tanks at least once a week and leave the valves open overnight, this helps keep moisture out of the tanks. 2nd, get a metal cover over the air tanks to protect the valves. I grazed a tree once and knocked off one of the valves and the truck was dead due to not being able to hold air pressure.
I like how he was saying he needed a dually to pull a trailer out of the hole while he's standing next to a truck that would dominate a dually. Pretty sure the 5 ton would be able to tow the car up the hill on a trailer. Keep it up Matt!!! Your videos are the best!!!
winches are definitely awesome! I have one winch mounted to a frame that slides into a 2" receiver hitch, and I have 2" receiver hitches on all my stuff including the front of my trailer. I just carry the thing around in my truck, and whenever I need it, which is more often then you would think, I just hook into a nearby receiver hitch, hook my 30ft jumper cables to the closest battery, and start tugging.
Coming from a guy who’s been in the army for 11 years, put a piece of duct tap over that buzzer for when your breaks need air. Can definitely still hear it but it won’t be ear piercingly loud anymore.
That Moser motors axle is made here in Portland Indiana, that's awesome quality on the chromino. Greg Moser said it's a product everybody wants but nobody needs and that's why he's going to make it.

I have also appreciated that you acknowledged the benefits of using a snacth block in recoveries in previous videos. BUT!! You, and Everyone, should Always have a dampening blanket/bag on your winch line....ALWAYS!! You might just save your life and those around you, and save vehicle glass and body damage as well. I'd recommend that All Demolitia members check out 4wd24/7!
I love the bar on the front of Abel. It used to look really tall and not wide enough, but the guard on the front actually makes him look very good, proportionally. Looks more badass too 👍🏻

Look at the cab and spare tire controls on the LMTV. There should also be transport mode selection that compresses the suspension for loading into aircraft. If you only need a couple inches of clearance get under the door use that
Good job on the rescue man If you gett some wheels with the right backspacing and don't use spacers. Judging by the size of spacer you were using, I'm sure you can find some steelies with the right backspacing for cheap. Even new ones. I'd try 3.75 backspacing. It's a very common lug pattern also so they aren't hard to find. Then just paint them chrome.
Oh well if the winch line brakes it will roll down the hill ok with no rear tires on it all righty then Matt please ask someone that knows what there doing

That tree actually saved you!! Imagine all that metal draging on that trailer. It was a little ski for the chromino lol Also the squeak when you start it you it up chief tighten one of the belt tensioners.
Need to build a big ol’ equipment barn down by your demo ranch range. Also: you should look into getting a big ol’ water tank or giant mil surplus water bladder for storing extra water (in the event of an oopsy with tanerite or something fun).

Need to build a big ol’ equipment barn down by your demo ranch range.
Also: you should look into getting a big ol’ water tank or giant mil surplus water bladder for storing extra water (in the event of an oopsy with tanerite or something fun).
Love the shirt btw... also you don't need a dual;y for this particular predicament... you need a receiver hitch that goes real low for the 5 ton, problem solved.
Still trying to figure out why Matt decided to go to goldies pit of death to do dust outs in the 1st place
