This was such a beautiful video! ✨ I'm so glad I saved it for a quiet morning because it set the perfect tone for my day. The older I get, the more I seem to enjoy visiting my hometown as well ☺ it brings back so many memories and reminds me of a different time.

Thank you for taking the time to watch it 💙 It's so weird how nostalgic and melancholic our childhood homes are. It's like stepping back into the past for a brief moment.

This was incredibly moving. Thank you for sharing your emotional journey Jemi. 💗I have also been finding solace in nature and thinking more mindfully. Sometimes when things just get overwhelmingly intense, simply stepping out the door with my dog into the green environment brings instant relief and by the time I return home I feel revitalised. I loved seeing the raw beauty of the Finnish countryside. It looks breathtaking. It's on my bucket list to visit the Nordic countries. The first video I watched on your channel was the one about Cottagecore, but I kept coming back to explore more content because of your engaging personality, individuality and dry sense of humour which always makes me smile. You definitely make the world a better place by being in it and through your channel you bring joy to people who you haven't even met! Sending you warm wishes. Stay safe, and keep focusing on your self-care because your wellbeing is important and it will give you the strength to get through this rough patch. 🤗

Thank you so much for your incredibly sweet comment 💕 I was wondering if any of my cottagecore era subscribers were still subscribed, WOW! 😳And it's definitely worth it to visit Nordic countries (I recommend summer if you aren't obsessed with winter, because summers are MAGICAL)! I really appreciate you letting me know how my content has made you feel, it's tough sometimes to make content and not know if it impacts anyone positively, but it's comments like yours that encourage me to keep creating ❤I'm definitely going to have to always choose to work on self-care, and it's what I'm doing once again right now 6 months later - I will hopefully have a similar vlog-type video on that soon 🥰 Take care of yourself as well and go on those nature walks, they help more than we realize! 🌿💚

Thank you so much, I REALLY appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment 💙I don't upload many vlogs because they're the least popular content of my channel, but they're some of my most precious videos🥹

I wish the best for you ❤️ You make awesome videos, I really like your style. :) Also, this video was a great reminder for me as well that my value is not only in my job. My aim this year is to be able to forget about work at the end of the day and be less stressful about it.

Thank you for your kind and supportive comment! ❤ And yes, I encourage you to definitely take a step back and re-evaluate what you base your self-worth in, it's been life changing for me ever since I realized how I was sabotaging myself with that pattern of thinking. I myself am hoping to detach myself from the traditional 9-5 lifestyle and I'm figuring that all out right now :)

This is a new style from you, but I LOVE it! Your edits are so professional and so crisp, but creative, I’m gonna get addicted- I can tell❤
Trying to slow down as well this year… I need to REST.
What camera do you film on? Every shot is perfect 👌 🎥

Thank you so much! 💕 I don't film a lot of vlogs because they get a lot less views, but this one felt too important to pass by. I used my iphone 11 for the most part, but my trusty Olympus OM-D E-M5 III for the fancier shots. I should've probably used my Olympus for the whole vlog haha.
And yes, rest is so important, I personally am so over hustle culture (especially in the corporate/tech world).

@@jemi_ well keep it up! I personally love vlogs if I like the person, if they have a chill vibe and an important message, so this was perfect 😍

What a beautiful video 😍 I can relate so much to your story even if mine isn’t the same. Almost a decade ago I went back to Sweden after living abroad for many years and it was so healing to come back where you grew up, reconnect with nature. spend time with family and just slow down after modern hectic city life ❤️‍🩹
Like you I had put so much of my self-worth into my career and my ability to be productive. It’s taken many years to come to peace around it since then but I am finally almost *there*.

Thank you! 💕 I'm so happy for you, life is definitely calmer and slow paced in Nordic countries. 🥰I hope to someday soon also live somewhere a little more peaceful, or at least not have to participate in hustle culture. For now, I need to find a way to sustain myself without putting my value or self worth in a career. Healing truly isn't linear haha.
