In theory, so long as you take NOTHING from Louisville, you could start rounding up the zombies on the ship The Walking Dead hoard style, and pied Piper them far into Louisville (along with more zombies from there inevitably) and get them far far far away. And once it’s far enough, you can sprint back to the ship + barricade it off to Louisville. The ship has already gotten contaminated with outside zombies and there’s no way Chester can do it all by hand, so I think in the end, it all balances out lol. That’s not even mentioning how much strategy and good timing that route would take lmaooo. God help Chester he’s having the worst time ever. I bet he regrets leaving his trailer park so bad 😭
For the plants that are behind a wall. When you want to harvest/water them, start the process on another plant, with the green square cursor still active from that you can get the plants behind walls.
The absolute madness of running around the ship with the heli overhead! The lack of axes makes big projects impractical. I wonder if foraging to make stone axes is the way to go? Chopping all those trees should give enough timber to be able to start building out from an upper level window of the church and linking up those rooftops that are inaccessible. Free real estate to make farms and stockpile water and set up escape ropes all over the ship to climb up in an emergency.

When the elicopter arrive you have to stay at home. If you in a house the zombies not enter if you don't make any noise. this is if it arrives when you are at home not outside

I always right-click and check the alarm when taking watches from corpses. Unless you're in imminent danger, it's worth the time.
tip: move all the watches to your inventory, then just click the bell in the right corner. and it will turn off all alarms
